If you're actually going to get a tune, this is the best advice. The intakes on the s650 are very good stock. I went with clear air box lids for aesthetics. The Corsa covers are nice but they have obnoxious badging. They were my second choice. The roush lids are nice but the windows are...
Thanks @DarkMatterGrey,
I've got a single piece engine cover, no access door. I think it's 7 bolts and 3 push-pins. I've already sourced them on Amazon and am going to order a pack of spares. I have filters and am ready to do the bag method for no drips. I've got ramps, stands, jacks and...
@MustangMitch69 makes the most valid points. The HP output of the SC means virtually nothing in comparison to the GTD, or even the 760 HP of the shelby. Even if the SC matched the 815 HP of the GTD, it still wouldn't be as light, have the active push-rod suspension from multimatic, the aero...
I just purchased 3 cases from RockAuto.
They said it's currently subject to a short delay. That's fine with me. If they send me SP that's fine. If they send me SQ that's ok too.
What's in my car now? No idea. New car... If I know Ford it's probably semi-synthetic. Moving forward it's...
I'm buying in bulk from RockAuto as well. It seems to be the most competitive from a price standpoint. Most of the brick and mortar retailers here, including Amazon sell the semi-synthetic stuff. Our Ford dealers mark up prices on all of their parts because it's the "California Bay Area". I...
I purchased the FL 2127s. I wasn't going to go out of my way to find 500s's unless they fell into my lap. I just bought what RockAuto had in stock. Wix has always been my backup. Their air filters worked really well too
I'm still on the fence with this oil stuff.. I've been using Pennzoil platinum for so long and it's been so good. It meets or exceeds all of the Ford specifications but obviously it doesn't have the little cocktail of Ford additives.
I'm going to buy two cases of the motorcraft today. Only at...
Greetings,
The filterwears fit great. They don't bunch up and they keep the OEM filters cleaner longer. Maintenance is a breeze especially when all you have to do is lift the hood to take a look. I drove a few hundred miles today. I ended up having the hood open when I got to my destination...
Thanks for setting me straight. Flash in the pan then. Sounds like it's right up there with the FX edition with the white nostrils and white wheels... Why would you.... I better duck because there's probably someone here with one who's really proud of theirs. My brother has a c8 with white...
I think it'll be more valuable ... I believe there were only 1,965 60th anniversary Mustangs made, so it would be more rare and has the potential to become more valuable from a collectable standpoint if it's left stock, has low miles, is well maintained and has all service documented.
It's not...
Guys
Love it. This is exactly the type of dialogue I was hoping to inspire. I'm a returning Ford guy, who is just starting to get my feet wet again. So much has changed. Hopefully your dialogue will help somebody else in the future. ie, Adding a aftermarket TPMS, electronic key, etc.
Thanks sir. I had emailed TopFlight this morning asking if they indeed had stock. I saw some reviews from others saying that they placed orders and were then told things were out of stock. I cross-referenced the part numbers. They're identical to the EOS parts.
I'm getting them for looks and protection. They add a little finish to the car's profile. Granted I don't have the HP and super sticky tires, but you do get spray when its wet and rocks can happen almost anywhere.
Agree with you on that.
