  1. Filter Wraps

Have to say the AFe Dry S are also very good. 👍. My experience with them was with Subaru.
  2. Filter Wraps

@MustangNoob, That's my post above. While a filter wrap can slightly reduce airflow, it doesn't reduce as quickly over time as an unprotected filter. So over the course of a filters life the engine is going to breathe better, and be less susceptible to ingesting water or particulate debris. I...
  3. Vibration after installing new rotors NEED HELP!!!

So the vibration happens when you're on throttle accelerating 85+ or is it more pronounced when you're off throttle decelerating? Any pulsing in the pedal when brakes are applied? What about the caliper mounting bracket? Is there a good amount of brake grease on the caliper guide pins? Do...
  4. What music do you like to blast while driving your Mustang?

Varies but you can never go wrong with Boston or Metallica.
  5. What did you do to your S650 Mustang today?? 🙋🏻‍♂️

How do those attach. With a double-sided tape or some other type of hardware? You mentioned a body shop.

  7. What did you do to your S650 Mustang today?? 🙋🏻‍♂️

I installed some filterwears on my airfilters.. >>> here Then these.
  8. Brake pedal

Well hopefully you're not heel-toeing in the garage so try moving your seat a little bit closer to the pedals or something. 😂
  9. S650 Filterwears Install

Greetings, There's a thread similar to this elsewhere. I did a quick filterwears install today. I took some photos. Credit to @D/\rK•650 for turning me on to these. Install takes 15 minutes. These will look nice once I get the RAH Performance clear lids. Thanks @Yamazuki. In this pic I...
  10. Bought the Dark Horse off the showroom floor

This is what happened to me too. I had an active search out there and all of a sudden I got a hit 4 miles from my house. First color choice and all but about $500 in purchasable options. I was down there the next day making a deal. Within 3 days I was driving the car home. I thought for...
  11. My clear airbox cover project. I like it...

Nice. Appreciate this link. I was hoping to stay with the black theme and unbadged, but this is certainly another option at a reasonable price point too. Thank you! 🙏
  12. My clear airbox cover project. I like it...

I'm boring. I just want the windows. I plan to use OEM filters with blue filterwears. I'm going to post pics when I have a chance to install. They arrive tomorrow. The windowed lids would be perfect/complimentary.
  13. HELP CAR WONT START AFTER HEADERS

So true. I've seen many swaps of all sorts and it's easy to inadvertently pinch or crimp something without even realizing it.
  14. HELP CAR WONT START AFTER HEADERS

Sorry to hear of your problem. Kind of takes the fun and excitement out of the upgrade. I think you should post a few pictures to see if someone with a manual can help point you in the right direction.
  15. My clear airbox cover project. I like it...

Why oh why can't Roush just sell the airbox lids by themselves. 🤣
  16. Passenger side airbox lid

I'm going to look today... I took the driver side off the other day just to take a look. The passenger side one is more difficult to get off because of the wire harness. 😂
  17. K&N vs aFe pro

K&N prioritizes air flow. AFe prioritizes filtration. If AFe makes a Pro Dry S filter for your vehicle I'd go for that. If you want to mess with the oiling I'd still go with the AFe. Just don't over oil and keep it clean.
  18. Antifreeze Smell

Greetings, I'm also new. Approx 150 miles.. No funny smells here though. Yesterday I checked all my fluids. Only thing I needed was Rain-X. New car smells are not uncommon. Take a peek around with a flashlight. If you can get underneath the car that's a good idea too. I just sold 2...
  19. Still deciding Dark Horse HP-6sp vs SC

@Junkyard Dog, I am definitely going to explore some different tire brands on the S650. I used Pilots when I drove VW's, and I'm sure I had a set or two on my Subarus. I ran on Bridgestones the longest and then rolled on Conti's for a good long while. I've never been a big fan of Perelli's...
  20. Still deciding Dark Horse HP-6sp vs SC

Yes. PZ4's. I'm stuck with them till fall. Then I have to replace with an ultra high performance all season in anticipation of the cooler weather. My preference is Continental or Bridgestone. These work really well here. Good wet / dry traction, decently stiff sidewall, Good tread wear and...
