There’s a lot to see, dozens of vendors, thousands of vehicles.
I highly recommend downloading the B-J app and creating an account. You can not only see all that’s up for auction and track the results but you can watch it live.
It’s easy for me because I live about 2.5 miles from the venue...
The local Shelby crew was there too. Also, there was a yellow RTR Ecoboost as well.
I wonder if you tell them you’re interested, they’ll let you sit in the SC. It was locked up.
Yes, because it's a simpler engine. No variable valve timing, no MDS, no Direct Injection, no high pressure fuel pump. It's a long-lived, lower maintenance engine.
With that said, why not a Mega-zilla

Interior noise isn’t that bad. They’re really not that loud. My son’s stock s550 with active exhaust is louder. I’ve been tempted to get an H pipe and feel there’s room in the volume of sound, except for cold starts in the garage. I live in a nice neighborhood and don’t want to draw the ire of...
I have an S550 Roush black dual tip axle back on my S650. It’s more of a straight through resonator style. Not overly loud except cold start up in my garage. Compared to other mustangs, including active exhaust vehicles like my son’s S500 without a resonator delete (x or h pipe) it’s relatively...
Ford doesn’t make one for the S650 GT. They stopped in 2021. The 2022 and 2023 S550 Mustangs didn’t have the option either because of new emissions equipment (narrower intake tube, carbon trap filter), which is why they also lost 10 hp. But here’s the part number and link for that.

Then why did you comment about it in the first place? I wasn’t initially replying to you. Calm down and go for a drive in your smog spewing, gas guzzling, climate changing, people killing, conspicuous consumption exhibiting, civilization exterminating, oil and fuel consuming Mustang and be happy.
DEF. One of the reasons I won't buy a new Diesel. At least the US government is allowed to buy DEF free Diesels. Not sure if that'll be an option for the rest of us with this regulatory roll back. In the mean time my son has been searching for pre-def like Ford 7.3 and older Dodge/RAM Cummins...
I was actually replying to someone else about Al Gore's position in the US as a climate change mass extinction huckster. When in reality (and a lot of people even here in the US don't know this) he's an investment banker and literally put his money where his mouth is and made a lot along the way...
I don't disagree as I think the target was more MPG than Emissions, but I don't know for sure as I haven't had time to digest the specifics (I was hoping that was what this thread was about). I think this is going after the future "regulation" from the executive branch Environmental Protection...
I thought a bunch of the change is for future regulation, pending higher MPG CAFE Standards, removing the provision about individual states (California CARB specifically) driving products/solutions for all states. If there's a relaxation in existing standards, I wouldn't expect much core change...
Yep, agree.
My next vehicle is one of those EV robo-taxis to come pick me up at the bar when I've had too much fun. More of a "cheaper than a DUI" utility vehicle.
I'd also keep my ICE cars for the sheer enjoyment of driving, Mustang for on-road, Jeep for off-road, wife's SUV for road trips.
