  1. Rear Differential Temp Sensor Harness

What harness and pins did you use?
  2. Rear Differential Temp Sensor Harness

Were you able to figure this out? I’ve been looking at the diff coolers from the gt350s and gt500s and they’re pretty well priced used, would be nice to have that easy install and only have to worry about plugging in some connectors to get the whole thing working
  3. Rear Differential Temp Sensor Harness

I ordered the sensor and the harness but I just have one question about the diff cover. I saw in 6g the diff cover and it doesn’t seem the sensor actually goes into the diff fluid. When you put your sensor in was there a port to remove that would leak diff oil or not?
  4. Rear Differential Temp Sensor Harness

I haven’t activated the gauge yet but I already know where to activate it, I just wanna double check what the part number is because I’ve been seeing multiple part numbers shared on this thread.
  5. Rear Differential Temp Sensor Harness

I have a non-PP car as well, can you give me the part number for the wiring harness that you got? And where the wiring harness replaces the old one? Are there different variants of this harness or is it just a standalone harness for the temp sensor?

  7. Normal A10 Transmission Temperatures?

Off the top of my head I’d say around 1000 bucks. Used all oem hardware and parts. Install was a pain but the cooler works very well and I haven’t had an issue. I did make a post about the install if you want more details about the install process and what parts I used, should be helpful.
  8. Normal A10 Transmission Temperatures?

Honestly I can’t find any good info on where you should really back off trans temp wise, I know the trans fluid is made to be ran hot but still. I installed the trans cooler anyways, so I don’t really worry about my transmission temps too much.
  9. Normal A10 Transmission Temperatures?

Honestly 240 oil temp is not even bad, usually for these engines you should start backing off once you reach 280 F (yellow zone on the track gauges). 225 for transmission is about right, operating range is about 206-215 I personally wouldn’t go above 220. Can’t say much for your CHTs, aluminum...
  10. (DONE) Adding the Performance Package Trans cooler to a non-PP car

AFAIK the Mishimoto radiator will allow fitment, I’ve seen them installed on dark horses with no issues and those also have the same trans cooler as the PP. For the Roush radiator I’m confused, if you mean the intercooler on the Roush Supercharger kits then it should fit, most intercooler setups...
  11. (DONE) Adding the Performance Package Trans cooler to a non-PP car

So it’s been a couple weeks since I’ve installed my trans cooler and I’m ready to give my final thoughts. 1. Does it work, yes the cooler actually works well, driving in 90 degree heat with traffic my transmission would 100% have gotten to temperatures around 210F, and after some rough driving...
  12. Normal A10 Transmission Temperatures?

Oh yeah it was a huge pain, topside work with the cooler was simple and took less than an hour but all the bottom side work with the cooler lines took me 6 hours. Wouldn't do it again but I'm glad I finished it so that at least anyone else in the future who wants to do it can see what they're...
  13. Dark Horse cooling help- auto transmission

With the dark horse, you get both the bottom side water to trans fluid cooler from the F150 10R80s, and the extra heat exchanger up front. One thing to note is that the fluid lines going up to the front of the car go through a thermostat, you could try to modify it to open at an earlier temp or...
  14. Normal A10 Transmission Temperatures?

Thanks for the photos! It really helped me, I recently installed the OEM PP transmission cooling system and made a post about it but I haven't had much driving or time to test and compare trans temps. What temps do you normally see during spirited driving or hard pulls?
  15. (DONE) Adding the Performance Package Trans cooler to a non-PP car

Little update, Ive been cruising around for a couple of days, the transmission does indeed run a few degrees cooler, but I haven't had the opportunity to get the trans hot and test it. Below a certain temperature the transmission will act as if it doesn't have the extra cooler up front cause of...
  16. (DONE) Adding the Performance Package Trans cooler to a non-PP car

Update: I got it in! After 5 (painful) hours of work I got the cooler in place. While it definitely is possible, it is a huge PITA. Here are some things to keep in mind: 1. If possible, do this on the lift, 90% of the work will be done under the car 2. For easier work, you will have to remove...
  17. (DONE) Adding the Performance Package Trans cooler to a non-PP car

You’re welcome! Someone had to do it, ford really screwed up with the design of this cooler, pulled it straight from the F150. Mustang doesn’t get enough airflow from under to make it effective. Hoping for a trouble free install tommorow!
  18. (DONE) Adding the Performance Package Trans cooler to a non-PP car

Progress Report #3, I’ve picked up the transmission cooler lines, retaining clips, and bracket bolts. After a bit more analyzing I’ve gotten an idea of how I will put the line in place. Red Circle: Flexible connections, get connected to the heat exchanger at the front of the car Blue Circle...
  19. (DONE) Adding the Performance Package Trans cooler to a non-PP car

Progress Report #2, I have ordered the rest of the parts needed for this install, just the cooler lines, some mounting bolts, and clips to connect the lines to the coolers, the install from here seems very straightforward. I will try to get some more photos and videos as I install, I also have...
