Looking at the pictures, looks like the wiring is a quick disconnect. Any thought that you can swap out the regular visor with the upgraded visor with the garage door opener? I've heard in the past that since the visor has electric for the vanity lights, the garage door opener just runs over that.

Correct. Ford cannot and will not "protect" you from the Gas Guzzler tax. Compare you original agreement to your actual purchase paperwork and I'm sure you'll find the price of the actual car and options didn't change.

I heard that in the S550, if you didn't purchase the package that had the garage door opener in the visor, you could purchase one from parts and swap it out. That the power for the garage door opener just ran off what was already there for the vanity lights. Can anyone confirm if this is true...
