I don't need 1000km. I want 500 miles and a reasonable charge time on that vehicle from 20 to 80 percent charge
in other words, I would like to drive 300 highway miles, then charge in 30 minutes or so
do that, and I am an EV user
5-15 minutes for that 300 mile charge would be even better
Honestly a 4 door sedan based off the mustang would likely save the mustang. They need more running down the assembly line and right now sales are bad for the mustang.
The Challenger existed because Charger Sales allowed it to
again, not talking names as mentioned in the OP
After thinking about it, I think the big reason for the Charger range is either aerodynamic efficiency (wheels, shape, and of course weight), bad motor design (too heavy a motor), or some combination of the two That car weight they reported is just too heavy for that size a battery unless they...
I am not sure the new architecture for the Charger will support the hellcat engine. heck, it may have problems with the normal V8.
I will still consider the Charger when I look at my next vehicle, but I am really wanting Ford to step up and make the teased 4d sedan off the mustang platform so...
All,
(Ground rules, this is not a place to talk about potential names, etc., just trying to gather any new potential info)
I have been searching the web recently and I have noticed that we don't have any recent information about the potential 4 door that might be based off the current Mustang...
1) demand isn't there
2) you are selling a convertible in winter.
3) Remember that cars depreciate. 10 percent of more as soon as you take it off the lot. 20 percent within the first year
Add the three things together and you are coming up with low bid.
Sell it privately and you might get...
If you are concerned, garage kept is better.
Why?
Less ice, less freeze/thaw cycles, less problems with charging the battery, less UV damage to the paint/ragtop.
I get that the car will get just as cold in the garage. Having lived in Northern IL for 30 years, plus visiting wonderful places...
I am extremely happy that you got the color and options you wanted and didn't have to "settle" for another color. Congratulations!!!! Nothing but best wishes for you!
Awesome looking car
The ONLINE version has that. I did not see it in the PDF version.

Considering the amount of metal I've seen in my rear diff after only driving a few k miles, I don't even want to know what my oil filter looks like after that same time.
Break-in isn't AS needed as the 60s, but it's still a good practice.
it was a thing in 2023
Your vehicle requires a break-in period. For the first 1,000 mi (1,600 km), avoid driving at high speeds, heavy braking, aggressive shifting or using your vehicle to tow. During this time, your vehicle may exhibit some unusual driving characteristics.
2024 says your...
A V8 RWD or AWD sedan (AND do it right Ford, BMW style AWD with RWD bias, not the FWD bias you've had in most of your AWD cars with way too much torque steer. I looked very hard a Taurus MKS/Taurus SHO, but that torque steer was just too much of a deal killer) would be awesome. I loved my '97...
Black cars are not the boogeyman people always seem to make it out to be.
Let me ask you this...are you going to be paint correcting, constantly washing and polishing, taking care not to get any kind of swirl marks of any kind, being careful to always hand rub, never use a polisher, etc. Are...
Look at it from the final buyer's perspective.
You go to a dealership and you see an absolutely gorgeous car that you absolutely love. It's got the right engine, suspension, transmission, etc. BUT...it has 250 miles on it. 250 miles that it has probably been whipped around with no regards to...
Yeah, that's a big beast. The thing is, I can't figure out why it weighs that much. A Tesla model S weighs 4,800 or so (4,776 according to google) and has more range (406 vs 260). It's a Lithium Ion Nickel Cobalt Aluminum (NCA) battery vs the Nickel Manganese Cobalt battery (NMC) in Tesla...
I saw my first one about a month ago in the GMC Sierra HD (it was in a Denali model).
I love the idea of a digital Rear View Mirror (RVM), but there are some drawbacks, some depending on where you live. There are also some good bonus features as well.
1) know where the camera is mounted. If...
I get that some vehicles are limited, and like it or not, resellers have made "hard to get" items...even harder to get. I have seen way too many playstations, Xboxes, 3090 video cards, and even cars order slots be reserved by predatory people with the intent to resell that slot, card, or...
