That style auto shifter has better functionality than the top flap style Ford gives you. I'd like one where you pull up on the collar instead of having to push down on the knob.
Can't say I have the throttle response issue on mine and I've definitely experienced various lag with different vehicles before. I do think the PP suspension sucks. Ride was harsh and floaty for me, Ford needs to re-think what they're doing there... Which they seem to have done with their s650...
I went with the Ford Performance track springs for the S650. I'd say there's no more than 3/4" drop and the ride is really nice so far.
Pic was taken about 5 minutes after install so it could settle just a little more.
What a crappy issue. First thing I'd do is take a driveshaft off a Mustang that doesn't vibrate and swap it with yours to see if that'd do it. Really seems like an imbalanced driveshaft to me.
I'll get a better pic of it when it's done (waiting for the alignment rack) but the ride was great on the test drive. Bilstein shocks/struts, FP track springs, Pedder's top mounts and sway bar links and a set of BMR camber bolts for the alignment.
They're definitely not covers. If you look at the other pictures for each piece, they have mounting points. Still, way overpriced but they seem to be the only one's who have this stuff at the moment.
