My last car was a 2018 EcoBoost Premium Convertible. I sold it last December when my 2024 arrived. I asked about treating the top when I bought the 2018 and was told by a few "experts" that their recommendation was no treatment. I took their advice and can honestly say that the top looked as...
Drove to the golf course yesterday. 42 degrees when I left the house with the top down. Got some laughs at the course for the top down, and for wearing shorts.
The other thing I had to do with the 2018 was spray some silicone into the seals at the top of the rear windows. I just did that once a year after it started happening. The first time I noticed that the windows were not closing completely, the dealer replaced the motor for those windows. It...
I always do front first. It's a habit I developed after noticing on the 2018 that if I do the rear windows first the front windows sometimes catch on the weatherstripping on the leading edge of the rear windows.
No invitation in the mail. I got an email telling me that the schedule is out and I went to the web site and signed up. https://tour.mustangunleashed.com/
1. As you stated you probably won't be adjusting it. Mine is set and I will probably never move it. I am happy to not have one more electronic/electric gadget that will someday break.
2. Never thought of this because I just hit the "button" on the screen.
3. From the Owner's Manual:
REBOOTING...
Minimum - so far low 40s (because it has not been colder), but looking forward to colder.
Maximum - there is no maximum. I used to live in Phoenix, AZ, and have driven with the top down in 110+ temperatures.
I have gotten into the habit of pushing the button again after the top stops moving before grabbing the handle and pulling it down. I am guessing the lawyers told the engineers to make it operate that way to keep people from getting their fingers pinched if it closes tightly on the first try.
No phone case for me and the phone usually has less charge after a long trip than when I first put it on the charger. On the plus side, the phone is nice and tasty when I put it in my pocket. Ford electronics in general suck. I don't care for Red Bull F1, but I hope the Ford guys doing the...
This is my second EcoBoost Premium convertible. No regrets on either. I drive with the top down all the time. No matter the temperature. I left the house two days ago and there was a light drizzle that stopped within about two miles. I got a lot of weird looks, but I just love the top down...
I was going to reply with that exact same answer. Mine was a 2018 and a dealer actually replaced the operator for the back window once under warranty. When it happened again I decided to try silicone spray and never had the problem again. Sprayed it once a year and never had to worry about it.
I had a 2018 EcoBoost Premium which I was very happy with. Got rid of it at 99,000+ miles just because I did not want to go over 100,000. (Mental thing, I guess, because I had with no issues with the car.) My 2024 EcoBoost Premium is a better car in many ways, so probably related to the fact...
