  1. How often do you have passengers in the backseat?

Seven years Mustang owner and have never had anyone in the back seat. I don't even put stuff back there, but would not hesitate to do that if necessary.
  2. Yet another software update.

Mine updated yesterday while driving on I-95 in North Carolina. All of a sudden it was like the steering wheel was fighting me. I have never turned on the Lane Centering function, but the update apparently turned it on. It took me a few minutes to figure out which button I had to push to turn it...
  3. Software update 4/24/26

From a Google Search: "There is no longer a requirement for vehicles to automatically shut off the engine when stopped in traffic. The EPA has eliminated incentives for this feature, meaning it is likely to become less common in new vehicles." Maybe the update has taken this into account and...
  4. Lebanon Ford DJ Branch

I was diagnosed with Mucosal Melanoma in April 2022. Actually four yeas ago to the day. I was told there is no cure and that I had 12 to 14 months to live. I saw an oncologist who said to me "I can't offer you a cure, but I can offer you hope, if you are interested." I was. After three...
  5. I herd u liek luggage racks

I can get my clubs and my electric cart in the trunk. Anything else can go in the wife's Maverick.
  6. Alarm System Issue

On my 2024 EcoBoost Premium a window pops up when I turn the car off, asking if I want to disable the alarm sensors. I have not looked for any other controls for that. Apparently the default for that is YES, which seems strange to me. I would think in most cases one would not want to turn off...
  7. Anyone else struggled deciding between EcoBoost and GT for daily driver?

I don't really care what anyone thinks about EcoBoost vs GT. I love my EcoBoost, which is my second one. I bought these cars for the top down enjoyment. I don't need an extra 200 or so horsepower. The EcoBoost is quick enough for me, and the handling is great. Although it is my "daily driver" I...
  8. Anyone else own a portable battery pack? Experiences?

I have carried one in both cars and the motorcycle for years. Have not had to use them once, but my motto is: Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. On a side note, my mustang was parked from December 23 to January 21. I got a notice from FordPass that it was in...
  9. Mustang SC @ Rolex 24 Daytona today

I am not at Daytona today soI have not met the people working there, but my experience with the folks working this type of display is that they are not Ford employees. They typically work for a marketing firm and are taught a lot of stuff about the cars and how to respond to questions. Some are...
  10. New 2026 Mustang GT Convertible (Orange Fury) owner

That price would keep me from adding it, if it was not there. I had this on my 2018 and now my 2024. I don't know if this makes me some kind of weirdo, but I have never used it to store anything.
  11. New 2026 Mustang GT Convertible (Orange Fury) owner

My 2018 Had the sunglasses drawer as does my 2024, so if it's not on the S650 it was changed after 2024. Also, my 2024 came with a blade spoiler. Not sure when they dropped that.
  12. Rearview Mirror Adjustment

5'-9" and no problem with my mirror.
  13. Do any S650 Verts come with a factory spoiler?

Might be hard to see in this picture, but my 2024 EcoBoost Premium Convertible has a blade spoiler. Having said that, a spoiler on a convertible is pretty useless.
  14. The Kids Aren't Alright [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Although I strongly disagree with the premise that "boomers are some of the worst offenders," I am curious to understand that perspective.
  15. Battery Tender

I have been using Battery Tenders since they first came out sometime around 35 to 40 years ago. Living in upstate New York there was no winter riding for me, so the bike spent months not running. I now spend my winters in warmer climes, but my motorcycle stays in the garage up near the...
  16. The Kids Aren't Alright [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Steve Jobs and Bill gates, two influencers of the very computers that power the devices you reference here did not have college degrees. They were dropouts. Their education was basically self-taught, and their success was owed to their hands-on work. Not menial labor, but hands-on work. There is...
  17. Winter storage

Biggest thing I suggest is a Battery Tender. I have never stored a car, but my motorcycle stays up north when I head south for the winter. I make sure fluids are fresh and gas tank is topped off, hook up the Battery Tender, and its good until I get back there in the spring.
  18. Great News for V8s and ICE Vehicles in General

Not sure how the metrics of this economy are being measured. My EcoBoost Premium Convertible is like the Mastercard used to be: Priceless. But my wife's Maverick XLT Hybrid cost $20,000 less than my Mustang and gets 42 MPG.
