I actually just learned how to use Forscan and disabled it that way. I wish I had done this earlier. I could have saved myself a ton of time. Now I can listen to my subwoofer without the annoyance of the ANC.
Oh God the Gallup noise through the subwoofer is awful. I think I can live it though. The important thing was to disable the ANC. You don't know how long I tormented over that! I thought I disabled the one in the rear headliner, but turned out it was the line to the antenna, so that explains why...
Hey I wanted to reach out and let you know that it worked! I followed the directions and changed the settings so no more ANC! I can finally listen to music with my sub on and no more white noise crashing through the speakers! Thank you again!
I was curious, I followed your post on disconnecting...
Well that's reassuring! I don't really feel as intimidated by it anymore. I'm watching tutorial vids on it right now. I got this! Hey thank you for the help. Seriously! This community is pretty amazing.

Got it! I visited that site from your other post and found my car.So basically you just keep the build copy on a USB drive and if something goes wrong, you just plug it into the car ? I apologize for all the questions. This does help me out.
I originally came across your post a few months ago, which originally sparked my interest in using Forscan.
How important is making that backup USB drive? Is that just in case I brick my ECU?
Hey thank you for the reply! I'm wondering if my sub installer tapped into the door speakers because when I have my sub turned up, the door bong is incredibly loud.
Hi! I purchased my 25' Ecoboost, base model, about 6 months ago. The first thing I did was to install a sub, which sounds great until I hit the accelerator. I found out that the crappy ANC is what's causing the issue and attempted to disconnect the microphones. I got the rear one but needed to...
