Iāve been told twice that my DH is waiting for the recall update however my car is not on the recall list lol, Ford Au is having trouble keeping their excuseās straight and the dealers are caught in the middle.
This is something I would expect from one of those cheap disposable car companies.
I had a conversation with customer service yesterday and they said wait until you have the car in your possession and then call them back to discuss compensation, I didnāt suggest compensation they did.
They probably have no intention to compensate us customers that have been on this unnecessary...
You should get the battery load tested. Once they have been below about 80% charge several times they will fail prematurely. Iāll be load testing my DH battery when it finally arrives, Iām sure itās been well below 80% charge several times since it left the assembly line. And Iāll bet it was as...
Hopefully the decontamination process will be a simple spray on the chemicals and spray off with water. They should be able to decontaminate at least 6 per hour if they are efficient.
Yep itās a comedy of errors.
The Tosca docked twice at port Kembla, once at Newcastle for several days and then Melbourne.
These people that work directly for Ford Au just canāt get their facts straight and continue to give out conflicting information, Iām sure they think no one talks about...
Has anyone in NSW with vehicles that were on the Tosca received them yet.
My dealer told me that Ford head office told him that the cars on the Tosca were waiting for the update to the dash screen. That canāt be accurate because I checked my DH on the Ford Au recall link and it is clear of any...
I was thinking the same thing but I had a light bulb moment and wondered if they considered that now its 2025 (and we are still waiting on our 24.5 carās) they consider them to be 12 months old already and have applied depreciation to the agreed value.
Yeah thatās the ones, 380 of them apparently. I believe they may be distributed to NSW dealers straight from the Melbourne distribution centre once released from quarantine. Frustrating waiting for them to arrive, my Dark Horse was scheduled for delivery before Christmas.
Delivery update.
My dealer informed me today that the mustangs that were on the Toska and Tortugas were delivered to Melbourne and are now held in quarantine without any current release date. Hopefully the quarantine process wonāt take forever.
Cool line up. Several million dollars worth I expect.
Now who is going to volunteer to check out the Newcastle and Melbourne wharfās for mustang arrivals ?
I would but Iām 13hrs from Newcastle and 11 hrs from Melbourne. š
Unbelievable! The Tosca has been bobbing around waiting to offload cars for nearly one month and the goal posts keep getting moved daily without any explanation.
Very frustrating.
The Tortugas and the Tosca didnāt dock at Port Kembla and now their schedule on vessel finder says 31/12/2024 Newcastle. On the Newcastle port authority schedule it doesnāt have either vessel scheduled for arrival any time soon.
Can anyone shed some light on this ?
The Tosca is now due to dock at Pt Kembla on the 3rd January.
Only 18 days late! So my Dark Horse will be either full of spiders or rust.
Maybe Iāll get lucky and see it before the end of January! I didnāt want rego and insurance due at Christmas each year anyway lol.
ATO putting their hands out again.
I recall LCT being introduced so that Australia made luxury vehicles like the statesman and faiirlane could compete with imported luxury cars.
Well! What happened when the Australian made luxury vehicles were no longer manufactured? Nothing at all! The ATO is...
