Hi everyone
I received a call from my dealer this morning and he said he had been notified that my car was ready for transport from the 17/03/25. He hasnât had any notification that the car has been picked up by the transport company yet so it will hopefully arrive next week sometime. Yay đđșđșđșđș
I done a RAV check on my Dark Horse last Friday. It has been given an approval number and my understanding is that once the vehicles have been through the quarantine and cleaning process itâs only then that the RAV approval number can be issue (If anyone disagrees with my understanding please...
Ford should be selling us these 2024 models at a reduced price because they are in fact technically 12 months old and we will be disadvantaged financially at the time of resale.
It may not be obvious now but if the owners decide to sell their vehicle in say 2028 it will be 4 years old and not...
Slow alright
The Tosca was just of the east coast of Australia at the end of December and thanks to contamination, dock workers strike and Ford Australiaâs decision to have the mustangs delivered to Melbourne so they could bake in the sun and salt air for a couple of months then back to Port...
Hey everyone
I just checked my vin against the Register of approved vehicles and it has been given an approval number.
shouldnât be long until it arrives at my dealership I guess, fingers crossed đ€
Hi everyone
My dealer got an update today! He said that the NSW Mustangs that were on the Tortugas and the Tosca and dropped off at the docks at Melbourne are now at Port Kembla and waiting for cleaning.
Hopefully it wonât be much longer before we start seeing them at the dealerships. I wonât...
Hi everyone
My dealer got an update today! He said that the NSW Mustangs that were on the docks at Melbourne are now at Port Kembla and waiting for cleaning.
Hopefully it wonât be much longer before we start seeing them at the dealerships. I wonât hold my breath waiting though.
Great news for Victorian buyers but not so good for us NSW buyers that are still waiting to hear if their cars have been shipped back to Port Kembla to get washed and delivered. Maybe we will hear a positive update this week.
The Carmen has departed Port Kembla this morning so it will be interesting to find out somehow if the NSW cars were shipped from Port Melbourne on the Carmen.
Hi everybody
Does anyone know if the NSW Mustangs on these two ships have been sent from Port Melbourne back to Port Kembla yet ?
Or are they still sitting on the dock at Port Melbourne ?
I was told by my dealer that once I have the car to call Ford Au and put in a claim for compensation (I was also told this by Ford Au customer service).
Im in a slightly different position to most in that I traded my 21 GT with less than 5000km on the clock back on the 2nd October 24 and was...
I just had a conversation with my dealer and Ford Au informed him that the cars from these two ships wonât be cleaned in Melbourne and will be shipped back to Port Kembla and cleaned there then delivered to the dealer.
ETA to the dealership probably wonât be until early April.
With all of this...
Thanks mate
Maybe they are just keeping the batteries charged and the tyres rotated to prevent flat spots lol
Be careful you donât get too close and spook those corralled up ponies! Ya might cause a stampede.đđđđđđ
Wow what a monumental xuck up, our new cars sitting in the direct sun and heat for three months should kill all of the contaminants as well as cause unnecessary UV wear and tear on the paint and interior. Our 24.5 cars are already considered 12 months old and as such have devalued before we will...
I wonder if any of the mustangs on these two ships have been delivered yet?
It appears that some of the mustangs that arrived in Melbourne after these two ships are trickling out to customers.
I wonder what tall story Ford Au will come up with next to keep its customers hanging on to their hopes...
