When talking about risk it seems helpful to evaluate if the situation in question has actually occurred in real life.
How many ceased warranties have been known to be caused by a muffler delete? A muffled delete is very common and Ford knows, that many customers throw out the suitcase on day two...
Thats's great. I have an oil catch can thinking it might cause a warranty problem and then ignoring the potential issue. Even though it can cause serious engine damage when you forget to empty it.
So let´s say it is more likely to loose engine explosion coverage when an aftermarked air filter...
This is obvious and should be clear to anybody who's considering that kind of modification. It is not what think of when it goes 'REALLY SOUTH'. But different people might think differently about it.
As far as I know there's no warranty issues that do not directly relate to the exhaust system...
It is already unreasonable to have this car. One of it's best features, if not the best feature, is the sound. So why not be a bit more unreasonable and take the small risk to upgrade it? I mean there's always something that can go south, I personally try to avoid questioning myself 'what if'.
I used a chain cutting tool and wanted to meassure the length of the cat-back remainder as presise as possbile. I thought this would be easier with the resonator inlet exposed and the whole thing on the ground.
It is a Steeda H-pipe which connects butt-joint style. I chose it because I think...
I can confirm that it is a significant improvement. More bass, more rumble, clearly louder. No drone. I'm quite happy and don't think I need aj aftermarket cat-back exhaust. Especially not one that some call quiter than factory.
I live in Switzerland and will delete the resonator today. Unfortunately it's cold and raining and I'm coming down with something and it's gonna be late and dark. Also, since I neither have a helping hand nor a tripod, I'm not gonna be the one providing a before/after-video of the EU Gen7 with...
On the topic of being louder about one exhaust mode :
I'm not sure to what extent this applies to the EU models with the OPFs. In Mustang 6 facelift models the H/C-Pipe is from 3 to 5 dB louder. And that is quite close to the dB sp range stock models of the same generation have.

I don't like it when the rumble stops - period. And having opinions that are not based on facts is something quite indicative of my personality. And it's also the foundation on which the unreasonable decision to get a Mustang was based on.
You seem to like quoting Gregs. So would you please be so kind and quote the bullshit part of what I wrote.
I believe I said my engine turns off while I'm still in the garage and that it don't like it. Plus that I'm not sure if long idling in gear could be bad for the clutch.
I hope I don't contribute to any political discussion, because a car forum is not the best place to do so.
Having said that - my engine turns off while im still moving out of my garage. That cannot be good and instantly alerts my empathy for mechanical systems. It's a gut feel that doesn't get...
I cannot think of any other situation where having this annoying thing on makes sense. I hate fog lights and I will never put it on again on my Mustang or any other car.
