If your steering wheel buttons are working then you likely just need to do the FORScan steps from earlier in this thread. Also in response to the earlier discussion from @sunnydhama, performance shift indicator does work, it’s an easy FORscan add.

You can try to ask your dealer if they'll do it, but I wouldn't count on it. If you already have a PP then it's an easy FORscan change that'll take just a second. Only cost is the adapter, or finding someone in your area who has FORscan and will do it for you.

Thanks for the confirmation. That did the trick. Changing 720-02-01 *xxx xxxx xx-- from a "0" to a "4" changed the instrument cluster from "PRNDL" to "PRNDM" and CGD now works as expected.
