@Cobrakit it was the same for me noise from rear right then i thought it was right front etc. The best to replicate the noise "for me" was turn the wheel to right
I noticed the extensieve play without grease. If you remove the 15mm bolt and slide it over the spines and gently twist from left...

These are the oem numbers from my vin nr i also noticed they use all New part numbers and eventually a lot of parts are used on a model before for example the front stabilisator bars are New numbers and the are the same ass on a s550 this flange the same it's evantualy just a 10r80 gearbox...

There is like another tsb from Ford with the "clicking noise" when shift from D to R a complete other noise ofcourse but the fix from Ford is replace halfshafts and bearings and it's the same grease between half shaft...
@Xiaoqian thx man!!! I can conform the fix today 200% I removed the output flange today and indeed not one bit of grease mine looked the same build in januari 2024. I even had some play on the splines after cleaning and put ceramic grease on the splines retorque everything no more play! And...
Was there any play (movement) on it? Because inside it's bolted with a nut so i am curieus whats cousing the knock i have the same problem and for me it's less after transmission update. Just when i go from D To R i can here it and just like you explained sometimes it's like in the back...
