Option 2 for the 700A package. Heated/Cooled Seats, Memory Seats, Ambient Lighting, Approach Detection, Security Package are worth it imo. Assume #2 is Auto Trans as well, which I prefer, b/c I dont like driving a manual in traffic.
New windshield came in next day, and this morning picked it up. No water intrusion and free state inspection.
Time wise I dropped it off yesterday afternoon and they called at 8:30 this morning saying its ready.
Works for me.
Yeah, they had to take out a seat or two to get it in. Slid it in from inside having back seats down.
Cabin gain in the S650 is great too. I've had systems since the mid 90's subwise, and those B2 RIOT 10s are the loudest I've owned.
My main concern was how it would affect the cars power and...
In near future I'm going to upgrade the stock 9 speaker system. I know that requires 2 parts that are just above $600...Maestro interface I believe and wire harness. Interface I believe replaces/bypasses stock amp so you can add another, so you free up some wattage for aftermarket one.
But...
Don't do what I did and think you need to force the connection. The cheap plastic brackets snap very easily around the connector. Still have to hang it in there, but didn't realize I was making a clean connection first time I plugged it in.
Agree on this. When I got the 2'nd one put in the rearview mirror shake that many had at 70+mph completely disappeared and never came back again. Even with my 4'th order setup in the trunk, the shaking was reduced by more than 75% compared to the original one from factory.
Now I'm hoping...
Well, got a call from dealership saying they found a crack in the southern most left hand corner of the windshiled, which imo they caused when attempting to do the recall, so I got the car back today from them. Nothing serious, and not likely to spread.
The positive side is that they basically...
When I purchased my Steeda H-Pipe, I got 1 set of the premium clamps they offered as an option.
Took it to a reputable shop that does many resonator deletes a week...a Muffler shop.
The premium clamps were not sealing and therefore were leaking.
So I just had them weld it. I don't ever...
I asked Grok to translate the Dutch .pdf and it did so here to some degree: https://x.com/i/grok/share/6xO1aUN3ZgqOyqELQJxMzc4hx
Dropped my Mustang off this morning and they said I will get it back later today or tomorrow morning....if no issues are found.
I just never noticed a difference with ANC or ESE in the GT when driving it, but I knew it was absolutely necessary to disable it if you plan on getting subs, b/c will emit buzzing/crackling sound from what I researched on car audio sites.
In my RAM Rebel I got system put in and they forgot to...
Np man. I was struggling to find a way to disable that gallop b/c I had worries, but since they tapped into the rear speakers for the sub install it wasn't an issue at all.
In your case: 727-01-01 3033 14FE 10B5
Focus on 10B5
First digit is 1. 1 means ECD Not Present, SANC Disabled, SESEEVESE Enabled.
Change it to 0. O means ECD Not Present, SANC Disabled, SESEEVESE Disabled
Second digit is 0. 0 means ANCM Disabled, ANCM Disabled, ANCM Disabled.
No action...
ESE and ANC needs to be off for the install. I believe there is a bypass for ANC, but then you would still need to disable ESE via Forscan.
Another thing of note is that you won't hear the heartbeat/gallop sound through subs, but you will hear the backup/motion sensors beep through subs when...
Man, sorry to hear about the issues you've been having.
Since the BCM is supposed to affect the lighting, did you ever notice any adverse issues or lighting issues leading up to this? I would assume so since there was corrosion in the pictures.
I take mine in Monday to get the recall fix done...
No battery issues here yet. I did get the Big-3 done with 0-Gauge wiring though. Using the factory battery.
Also, the Sundown Audio bass knob has a digital read out on it that I keep on Volts.
When I start up the car it always ramps up to 15.2-15.5 Volts. It can range, randomly from 12.5-14.8...
Sorry to hear man. I had the same thing happen to mine around 6500 mile mark. Was on the Interstate and out of nowhere a big rock hits the windshield, and since it was in the drivers view, under VA law it must be replaced.
Well with the factory replacement and ADAS calibration it was around...
The dealer near me is having their body shop do it, and I know their work is excellent b/c I recently had work done by them.
Told me 1-2 days max, and that they only do one recall a week....of course that could be dealer dependant.
