Guys I’m actually so stupid. The YouTube video I watched was a different spoiler lmao, I got mine from ford performance and didn’t even have to take the module off it seems. Just did a whole lot of unnecessary work, and the spoiler alignment is slightly off by the smallest amount and I think my...
Don’t have an eraser wheel, I have rubbing alcohol and just went and grabbed a plastic razor blade so hoping that will help! My thumbs are already killing me lol
So I’m changing my spoiler, and have the module off. I’ve got all the residue off of everything else, but the tape on the inside of the module seems absolutely impossible to get off. Is there and trick to this or just a lot of patience? I see this taking me hours.
I did take a video of it, and it seems it did reset. I noticed last night my oil % dropped from 5% to 2% in my hour drive, so I really must be driving my car rough lol. I’m gonna lay off the paddle shifters.
I will change it soon. I changed it a few months ago and have only done 1800 miles, so was just confused on if this was actually accurate. I drove my scat pack very hard, but never had the olm come on before 5k miles. I didn’t use the paddle shifters as much tho, I don’t like speeding too much...
So I did my oil change at 1200 miles, and just got a message at 3000 miles my oil life is at 5%. I know I reset the message because I took pictures of me doing so, I drive the car pretty hard, is this just an error, or am I really due for an oil change after 1800 miles? I don’t track the car...
Tenps are fine, the issue randomly fixed itself on the way home. I tried turning off my car and turning it back on 10 mins later and it still did it, just randomly went away though. Think I should have dealer reset computer?
Was just out driving my 2025 gt, it felt weird from the start but no real issue. Mid drive and now it will not go over 5500 rpm, not even with manual mode. Car seems to be running great, plenty of power. When in auto, it’s shifting at 5500 even if I’m flooring it, no cel.. when I’m in manual...
Also manual called for 9.5 quarts, I’m in between the 2 dots, is it worth to top it off or does it not really matter. Probably a dumb question , but I know the 2024 said 10 quarts.
It’s usd lol, wanted to make sure I didn’t rub when I added stuff, I got a 15% discount though so it was more like 550. Could of probably got by with rhino ramps but decided on these.
Got it all done. The undercover was a pain but not too bad. Ended up going with Pennzoil ultra platinum, $70 total for oil change compared to dealers $217, no ticking so far, the race ramps were awesome.
Sorry did not see your post about rock auto. How do you guys feel about the pennzoil ultra platinum? They have it at Walmart near me for $24 for a 5 quart jug.
So been shopping for oil tonight and I cannot find motorcraft 5w30 full synthetic. Anyone know a good place to buy it? Doesn’t seem to be in any store near me.
Well got everything I needed today. Don’t trust myself on over tightening so grabbed a acdelco digital torque wrench off Amazon that was on sale, even grabbed a Milwaukee cordless ratchet for all the bolts, and to add a lip.
Only thing I’m worried about is tightening the filter, but will be...
You may have convinced me just to go with motorcraft for my oil. Manual recommends it anyways, and people here say amsoil isn’t worth it. It’s a lot cheaper, I just wasn’t sure how good of oil it was. Thanks for that information! I do miss the days of working on our vehicles with my dad, oh how...
