Premium pkg on the EB is 201A - perimeter alarm is listed on the window sticker - don't even know what it is and don't really care. FWIW
The only thing that I got on the premium pkg that I really wanted was leather seats, the rest was just "stuff" that came with the pkg ........
All I can say is: Making the listed changes to the IPC turns off the annoying seat belt spalsh and warning chimes (on my 2026 Mustang). Did it affect any other systems ? ... "don't know and doesn't matter". It does not affect any mechanical function of the belts - like the inertia reel.
Air...
When I posted the picture of the brake pedal wear point on my Mustang, I guess I should have also mentioned that, the wear pointed to, is the direct result of "technique" ... If you have ever attended a performance driving school(s), you understand. I NEVER had a problem, with any shoes (or...
Interesting post .... for decades my favorite driving shoes were Timerland boat shoes, for over a dozen or so cars I owned. I wore those shoes when I picked up my new Mustang and immediately, my foot slipped off the brake pedal. Any way, you can see from the pic, where I press the brake, upper...
I used a heat gun to remove the warning label - naptha to remove the glue residue
I cut a piece of carbon fiber vinyl wrap - 4"x5" - for the cover.....
cost - "free", as I already had the wrap from another project
I'm always a little amused at the frustration expressed by many that have to "push" their ASS button ...... I "push" BOTH buttons at the same time - never give a second thought. Maybe, as a pilot in another life, requiring multi tasking before flight, It just doesn't register ......... LOL
I keep (and have used one for decades) an - At a Glance - Auto Minder record book in all of my vehicles (yeah, a little obsessive/compulsive). I record EVERY cent spent on the vehicle ..... All fuel purchases - keeping the "last" fuel receipt in the unlikely event of a fuel issue traceable back...
Because I already have a Lexus and really like Lexus' - when I went looking for another convertible, the LC 500 was at the top of my list. TMC does not make any other model with a convertible top. Anyway, the trunk space in the LC 500 was a show stopper, only 2/3 that of a Mustang. Not only...
Your post validates the "genius" of Ford marketing :) You point out ALL of the features you would likely not buy if given a choice ... but you bought it anyway .... from my earlier post: "When a car model develops a "following", it becomes the "golden goose" for both the mfr and aftermarket...
For a guy who says he's owned over 20 Mustangs and leased over 30 cars (in another thread) - if true, this ain't your first rodeo, so why are you here looking for help on what to buy??? It's your dough, buy it, lease it, rent it, you apparently know the drill. Whatever you get, there won't be...
If you got the VIN and looked at the window sticker (Monroney lable) and it says "automatic", that's what is being built. "After" you recieve a production / schedule date, it is generally too late to make a change
When a car model develops a "following", it becomes the "golden goose" for both the mfr and aftermarket suppliers. If there weren't buyers for DH's, over priced GT's or EB premium's, Ford would just manipulate the production line to produce some other variant, that Mustang buyers will empty...
