I believe that is normal since Ford uses the valve cover for other vehicle that do use those screw holes. Also I would be hesitant to put any additives in the oil like ceretec because it could void your warranty on your internal engine parts. Plus its not a good idea to use additives on a new...

What is your source about the full grain leather vs half grain leather? only documented difference I can find is the stitching with the unique leather trimmed seats that come with the 401a package. I think if that were the case it would be advertised because that would be another selling point.
