Yeah, yellow on basically any vehicle is a tougher sell.
I donāt understand the quality thing at all, unless youāve only been in a lower trim. But then you think the mustang is acceptable.lol. Iād say the higher trims of both models are comparable.
I hate you just because you have a GT500. I rented one while in AZ - awesome car. The DCT impressed (I'm a manual guy) and they car sounded and, handled great. If I had one complaint it would be that it did its job too well. It always felt controllable and would rarely want to spin the tires.
Interesting... in terms of the design, layout or material quality? I think they are a bit funky but the overall build quality is quite good IMO. I would say the lack of storage space and visibility (which you become accustomed to both) are the main gripes that I would list.
Yeah, I can't imagine the car will sit too long. I did see apparently the dealer thought my color wasn't a good sale. They immediately swapped my yellow splash for black LOL. OTOH, they didn't even have the decency to reply back to me after I said that I wasn't taking the order. I should've...
I'm sure that I will get flamed by many (and I'm not saying that I wouldn't do the same ), but I'd like to stick around here for a bit. I'm still excited about the new Mustang and can't wait for you guys to start taking delivery, seeing photos & sharing your thoughts on the cars.
Having...
Yeah, ik a few guys on youtube have had to have the GT350 motors repaired/replaced lol. So it seems to be the case. The one guy actually slapped a supercharger on his (replaced motor) and it seems he has had no issues so far.
A quart every 500 miles on a car like that seems a bit insane to me.
All excellent points. I had shopped for a GT350 myself, prior to making the decision of getting a new car. In addition to what youāve listed, I couldnāt get over the fact of not having the updated gauge cluster (like the gt500ās have for example). The interior is just a bit too antiquated for...
To me, the Shelbyās are special cars..the DH not so much. Iām not just hating on the car either. I think the DH looks great and should bring a ton of joy to the future owners, but it just isnāt the same as a Shelby imo. The DH is a dressed up Mustang GT at the end of the day. I mean the thing...
this might be the dumbest thing that Iāve seen on this site yet.
firstly, your experience with a DH is..what? Then a Mach 1 and a GT are better than a 350? ššš OKkkk
The majority of new vehicles sit outside for weeks prior to being sold. At least at the plant theyāre in a clean, paved, relatively secure location. You should see some of the trucking yards these will sit in. Also, does one realize that dealer inventory sits outside (for the most part)?? Lol
Is anyone else having the order tracker still not being updated? I've confirmed several time with Ford chat & the dealer that my car has been scheduled for production. The tracker has never showed the production date.
If you're sticking with the grey seats (presumably to not have black in the AZ sun), I would stick with the blue personally. I don't think the yellow would look as good with those rims nor that interior color.. just my two cents!
You cannot go wrong with grabber blue on a mustang IMO, but yellow is one of my favorites (and what I had ordered). Also, that rendering is not accurate at all. The photos below represents the color 100x better.
I would almost have to put white stripes on, if I went with the grabber blue. š
Also, I would like to add that there are no dealers (that I'm aware of) who have offered a serious discount on Camaro orders. There is also no easy way of gaining access to something like X-plan. So in reality, the pricing delta is much greater than what it seems at first glance.
The recent...
Agreed. If I'm already spending xx amount of dollars on a custom ordered car, I'm definitely not going to pinch pennies where you see it most (the INTERIOR). I also had the base sound systems in some of my previous cars (which were also custom ordered FWIW) and was one the regrets I had. If...
