100%. 2LT with magneride and handling package is $86K-ish before haggling, $83K when you’re done. Much as I hate automatics, that would be a serious consideration if I was looking at a $75K DH.
I’m not sure if “poorly received” is the best way to describe it… it just seems like people expect something more. Hard to argue that it’s not basically the same as the Mach 1’s performance-wise. The styling has gotten mixed reactions too. Couple that with the price and those are two hurdles...
Yep I’ve owned the Mach and a 2018 GT and spent a lot of time in 350’s so I feel somewhat comfortable offering opinions on them. But a lot of folks who comment on the topic may not have that kind of experience to draw on and can only go by what they read or watch.
This thread is bringing me back to yesteryear... 2021 when the same argument started between the GT350 and Mach 1.
It always ends the same way. 350 owners talk about the unique engine and Shelby brand. M1/DH owners talk about the unreliable 350 engine and the performance comparable to the...
A month ago today I went to look at a Dark Horse and posted about the experience. Blue Ember handling package, automatic. Just wanted to test drive and had no intention of buying. Had to let them "run the numbers" before they'd let me drive it but the numbers were so high I walked out.
Today...
Nope the OP. We've never met but have read lots of his posts on both 6G and 7G. Had lots of BMW's, bought a 2020 GT and modded it but still loves BMW's, test drove a bad-apple 24 GT and expressed his disappointment. Not sure how that makes him a Ford hater, other than hating the fact that...
A local dealer has one with the handling package that they can’t unload and are selling for 1000 below sticker if anyone is interested… It is an automatic. They will ship across the country. If you call them, ask for Steve Mikus...
For many years I had a pickup for a daily and a Mustang for fun. About 10 years ago I experimented with one car to cover both needs and bought a 2011 Audi S4. Worst 18 months of my life. 3 days in the shop to replace the THERMOSTAT??!! Oh, because you have to remove the supercharger to get...
If you do consider it you could play them against the blue ember manual at Shults Ford as suggested by @Lidsoff, the two dealers are about 45 minutes apart. Even if you have no intention of buying the manual.
These guys will sell for MSRP and ship to you... ask for Steve Mikus. Looks almost identical to your build.
