  1. Rattle starting at 2K miles

This exactly. With the substantial rises in costs and no wage increases to match, I don’t blame anyone for wanting perfection out of what they spend their hard earned money on. I’m just like you, meticulous about my car, down to every detail. It makes me sad to think about what my cars may have...
  2. Rattle starting at 2K miles

have you heard of any harm caused by additives? I was thinking on doing Ceratec to quiet it down but of course Ford doesn’t recommend using any additives.
  3. Rattle starting at 2K miles

Both my manual s550 that I had and manual s650 I have do it/did it. It goes away after the car is warmed up. Not really sure what the chatter is.
  4. Making the S650 as capable or better than an SS 1le

I also think people downplay the 650 a bit. When you watch a lot of the in depth videos, ford did a lot to make the platform better. I also had an s550 for a time and the 650 is an improvement all around.
  5. Making the S650 as capable or better than an SS 1le

I’m not denying that, the car is awesome. I would have got one if it were more within my price range. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe the PP cars do share a lot with the Dark horse, minus some calibration work, tires, diff cooler, and “chassis tuning”
  6. Making the S650 as capable or better than an SS 1le

Seems pretty disappointing considering all the work that went into that. There was a video I saw on YouTube of someone running their PP 650 and it put up pretty decent times with just an apr wing and splitter. Can’t remember which track though.
  7. Making the S650 as capable or better than an SS 1le

I don’t think so either. It got a lot better with the steeda wheels and wider tires, so where it’s at now I find more than acceptable. At least I can actually feel somewhat of the limit now.
  8. Making the S650 as capable or better than an SS 1le

That’s fantastic! Gonna be getting some camber plates and looking at the stop the hop kit. Also going to look into toe link bearings. the car feels really tight with what I’ve done and feels comparable to my old 1le. I think the biggest difference to me is steering feel. The rack is super fast...
  9. Making the S650 as capable or better than an SS 1le

    Knuckle to toe link bearing
  10. Making the S650 as capable or better than an SS 1le

What about these? Part number: M5A460M They come with the track kit I mentioned in my original post but I only got the struts and s650 track springs to go with. I felt the rest of the stuff wasn’t needed. I was looking at doing the stop the hop kit, probably will be next
  11. Making the S650 as capable or better than an SS 1le

Curious- what made you get rid of yours? I find myself missing mine at times, but the coyote is just a more fun motor to me.
  12. Making the S650 as capable or better than an SS 1le

Hi guys, hope all is well and I hope I am posting this in the right place. I have an s650 PP and I’ve already done some work to it. It does not have magneride, so I put the Ford performance track package on the car - M-FR3A-MAA. This completely changed how the car felt and tightened things up a...
