  1. Fuel for 2024 Mustang GT - premium or regular or mid grade fuel?

Nah. S650 Mustangs love drinking ethanol, they're practically alcoholics. The ethanol-free gasoline at specialty stations is good for mixing with stabilizer for rarely-driven vintage cars. For a sports cars that's going to see more than 500 miles a year of road time, E10 is fine. Higher octane...
  2. 2024 - Brembo Differences

Yes, and for the Drift Brake mode. If you kick out the rear hard in Sport Mode, it'll use every system at its disposal to try to keep you from spinning further. You can feel it hit an "electronic wall" where all the safety system are like "uhhh, buddy? Watcha doin?". Put it in the Track mode...
  3. What type of induction do you prefer?

Street car supercharger builds are straightforward. Assuming you're paying a shop to do the installation and tune, you'd just work with them to get the kit ordered and any incidental parts like a new oil filter, they'll invoice with the installation. A supercharger is going to give you a 50%+...
  4. 2024 - Brembo Differences

The performance package Mustangs have an extra set of calipers on the rear wheels. Worth noting if you're putting the car sideways, as the Torsen lock-up and torque vectoring change the steering after you flick it.
  5. Father meets son.

Welcome to vehicle hobbies. There's a reason terms like AMU (aviation monetary units), BOAT (break out another thousand), and FIAT (fix it again tony) are a thing. My Pirellis are at 1500 miles and I'm already cross-shopping replacements. Maintenance is just the cost of fun.
  6. S650 front end seems to float at highway speeds.

Speedometer button turns toggles the speed controls (off by default), the button with the car in the lanes toggles the lane centering (on by default). Single button press for both in the US performance pack variants.
  7. "Mach 4" 4-Door Mustang + Off-Road Baja Mustang models previewed at Ford dealers meeting!

For "daily commuting" the 3.15 gives you better MPG because it keeps the car out of boost, but that's also what gives you the lag. In sport mode with the 3.55, you don't have the lag as it's generally at 2500+ rpm. For example, 55 mph in 7th gear (1.00) is ~2100 rpm, so put your foot down and...
  8. "Mach 4" 4-Door Mustang + Off-Road Baja Mustang models previewed at Ford dealers meeting!

If we're going down the rabbit hole, the biggest problem with the stock Ecoboost is simply gearing. The HPP (S550) and PP/MR (S650) change the car radically.
  9. How dark do you tint your Mustangs?

I haven't bothered with tint on the convertible. It seems kind of pointless to tint windows that are down 95% of the time.
  10. 2 Cracked Windshields in 6 months of ownership!

Try telling her to be more of an aggressive driver  No seriously, you want the Mustang at the front of traffic lights, in front of the line of traffic, et cetera. You never want something taller than you in front of you. Compared to 30 years ago, far more people are driving trucks and...
  11. Hesistant between to choose GT Base or GT Premium

All the little things just add up to be nice, it's true. The funniest thing I've wound up liking is the wireless charging. I know they're removing it because it's hit-or-miss depending on phone, but with the Pixel 9 Pro it lines up perfectly with the charger, it just works, it's really nice.
  12. 2024+ Mustang S650 Orders Tracking List & Stats [Enter Yours!]

The blend date is on your window sticker. Add your VIN to the Ford Window Sticker site - once you have a window sticker, you'll see a blend date, which is when your car is scheduled to be built.
  13. Spoiler delete or not?

Yes. The GT Performance Package spoiler is in huge demand FYI, there are plenty of builders who would gladly pay for yours, which would cover the cost of an aftermarket swap easily.
  14. Touchless or Tunnel Car Wash for convertibles?

Don't put a convertible in a car wash. Full stop. Pay someone to hand wash it if you don't have the time, there are plenty of detailers who will literally come to your home or work and do a proper 2-bucket wash-and-dry and won't wreck the top.
  15. Stone chip repair advice

2 ~ 3 coats of paint followed by 2 ~ 3 coats of clear. Clean out the rock chip with a cotton swap and rubbing alcohol. Take the cotton applicator tip that comes with the touch-up paint, soak it in water, and use it to gently rough up the bare metal and edges of the paint around the rock chip...
  16. 3:15 vs 3:55

Yes. To generalize, the 3.55 torsen setup is better in mid-range driving, cornering, et cetera. The 3.15 setup is the better highway cruiser (fuel economy) and for building top-end power if you're chasing forced induction on the 5.0.
  17. Ford promises to build manual V8 Mustangs until they're illegal

It's a fairly easy engine to work on, and the engine bay was built for a V8 so there's room for days. Everything is laid out reasonably well by the Ford engineers too, it's one of the few cars I don't dread tinkering on, because I know I can solve most issues in under an hour.
  18. Ford promises to build manual V8 Mustangs until they're illegal

No worries, it's one of those things you think more about if you've played with a soldering or welding torch. When you have the gas flow on max, they're much harder to light. So when you have this undersquare engine like the Ecoboost where you shape the engine around how fire likes to move, you...
  19. Ford promises to build manual V8 Mustangs until they're illegal

Jesus drove a Honda, he was just humble so he didn't brag about it: "For I did not speak of my own accord" (John 12:49). He still bummed rides though: "I came not of my own accord, but he sent me" (John 8:42)
