You just unscrew the shifter knob; it takes a littler muscle, but not much. The stock shifter knob doesn't have a locking nut but the Ford Performance shifting knob does. Ya - I’ll be doing the same, what I like to do is use only part/accessories from Ford. When I do this, in my mind, I’m keeping it stock - LOL

Perfect!! It’s a Ford product, you can buy it from Ford Performance website or go to one of the other Mustang part websites. You can save a few bucks going to a Mustang website stores.

The Ford Racing shifter knob is about the same weight as the stock shifter. I installed the shifting knob a little higher than the stock shifting knob. I did this to Lengthen the shifting stroke just a little, for me it gave me a better feeling/smoother shifting experience.

No - remove the covers for a photo shot. I put the covers back on and keep them on while I’m driving.. I think I will be adding a strut tower brace though - LOL

Correction - You can up grade to the Magnesium Framed Panoramic Curved Display for a $1000 with the GT Premium package [use to be standard with the GT Premium package] or it will be included in the up grad trim option.

Did any body noticed that the GT premium will not include the single dash panel housing any more unless you go with the higher trim level?
