Are you looking for Active Valve Exhaust (AVE) where the noise level can be controlled or just going to quad tips (two on each side) vs. dual tips (one on each side)? Adding true AVE to a non-AVE vehicle is difficult and requires aftermarket components to control the open/close state since the...
Great thank you for that. There is another thread in here where the poster was able to add all the components, wiring harness, active exhaust, rear valance, but couldn't get the computer to control the valves through ForScan. This is very tempting
Do you know if SwitchPath Catback Quad Tips (SKU: 3025-42650) can be fitted to a non-Active Valve vehicle. This would at least need the SwitchPath remote and valve controller (SKU: 1325-11012) as well as modified or new quad tip rear valence from Ford, and maybe something to tab in to the wiring...
I wonder if the AWE SwitchPath Remote Control exhaust can more readily be added to a car that didn’t come with AE. It has its own actuators and control module that needs to tap into the wiring harness. From there opening and closing is only via the remote regardless of mode. So it would at least...
Wow, that color is beautiful (Blue Ember?). Congrats and enjoy the 6 speed. I love my manual, I know they had some bad teething pains early on with the MT-82 (I had it in my 2022 Ecoboost as well), but I can't imagine how nice your Tremec is.
As an influencer, he absolutely is getting to the front of the line. Also, this is for a SEMA build (I think wide body kit). That's how people are able to buy their Halo cars as well.
Brand new purchase, drove it off the lot had a CEL. Took it back to dealership, changed out two spark plugs. Drove it off the lot after repair and got another CEL. Two broken spark plugs again. It's in Ford's hands. May not know root cause for at least a week since the OP is out of country.
Wanting to use my Ford Pass points, ordered 2 weeks ago from a local dealer. Can’t order directly through Ford Performance since Arizona is blocked out from direct Ford Performance purchases. Dealer called on Friday saying Ford is out, but they’re having one expedited. Seems like there’s a run...
For reference here's my 2022 Ecoboost with the (rare) 6 speed manual, hit by an uninsured motorist. She probably hit me at 15-20 mph. Cracked the rear plastics (bumper cover and rear valence) as well as the plastic impact bar and behind that the metal impact bar. Also had to replace sheet metal...
I’m pretty sure mine does the “relays clicking” under the hood as well. Also, it looks like driver’s digital panel back light turns on giving it a faint blue glow.
I’m pretty sure I have Job 1 Mustang (blend date 11/29/2023, 6 speed manual, no Start/Stop, has $1000 gas guzzler tax).
Is this a...
I am trying to understand why Ford did this. I traded my 2022 6 speed manual Ecoboost Mustang for the 2024 6 speed manual Coyote and it too called for the same WSS-M2C961-A1 spec because "it can reduce oil derived low speed pre-ignition," which apparently is a big concern with GDI Turbo...
