I did this in my truck with the B&O system, and I did notice an improvement in sound quality. I can now hear my rear speakers which I was not able to before since the B&O systems are tuned to be front-stage biased. The speakers it brings are not B&O branded.....they are FoMoCo and imo, they are...
This may help. Ford just released it last week.
However, in order for the dealer to do this (if they do it, because this document is not some smoking gun you can use to get them to update it), the update(s) need to be available for your particular VIN. In other words: If they plug your can in...
I am not sure, tbh. @A4techpl Has helped a few people out in your situation to get things working properly. If what we tried didn't work, that may be your best. I know it is possible to do, but I don't know how to do it.
I got that from a VIN that was provided to me. I didn't verify anything, tbh. Just changing the country code doesn't always work. More times than not, more is required to get it to work, but I don't know what that process entails. APIMs have to be programmed to ROW for sync nav to work.....that...
Yes, pull the negative cable for 20 minutes to get the spin cycle to go away when you check for updates. I can't say for sure that will prevent updates from going through, but I know that's the way to clear that out and I would do it if it was my vehicle. If you have forscan you can try to...
Wiring diagrams for the the turn signals, head and tail lights are attached.
Also attached is the diagram where the turn signal lamp is located on the front bumper. It says you need to remove the front bumper to get to it, so the diagram on how to remove the front bumper on a Mustang GT is also...
The OTA process is unpredictable and unreliable at best. I have seen many cases where a vehicle goes longer than 2, 4, 6 months or more without receiving an OTA. It sucks, but that's often the way these things work.
I don't have one of these cars, so I've never messed with one to this extent. I'll check it out tomorrow when I have some time to dig through the spreadsheet to see if I can find anything.
No, you need a 20amp power supply. I use a Clore PL2320. $100 on Amazon.
Tbh, the very few updates that have been released for these cars so far are small and you can get away with doing them with no power supply at all. However, when the release an IPMA update that takes 3 hours to do, it...
I think there's a fix to this posted on the Mach E forum. It has something to do with the latest Android Auto update. I'll see if I can find the thread.
On the F150s, Lightnings and Mach E, the latest BCM update cannot be done without a dealer login or proper NFTSA credentials. I did the BCM on one of these cars once, but since I have a dealer login, I didn't experience the road block. I assume it would be the same with these cars, though.
