If I were you I would push it on the stud now. Just check to see that the line hasn't made contact with the exhaust manifold which would require replacement of the line.

When my GT manual transmission when running at idle in neutral the shift lever has a slight shake to it. Is this normal? My dad has a 2018 GT and his does not display this.
What is the build date. I wonder if all GT manuals will now come through this way. I have a March build date. When I ordered in Dec it included the gas guzzler tax.
Thank you for confirming this. So far every new Mustang I've seen has this. I bet others do too. They just aren't looking in the right area and angle. For me this is not acceptable and believe it is a mfg error that should be corrected.
From the picture you posted I'd guess that paint plistor/chip was caused during assembly due to poor panel fit. Looks to tight there. I would have them correct that first and then do the paint touch up.
