Also, Ohio guy here, my 24 GT Vert is not my daily, but we've driven it quite a bit for Ohio weather. Took delivery in Sept. '23 drove it thru November, top-down on nice days, even manage to drop the top on Xmas day last year for a ride. Don't drive it with the top up much, but when we have, I...
Mine too, but not sure what the ECG is. On others screen shots, it actually says "Software Update {version#}" ie 6.3.1, 6.3.2, or 6.4.0 at the top. Its not terribly important, but curious.
So I have the new instrument cluster (Classic '67-'68) but my screen doesn't tell me what version I'm running. Shows Last Updated: July 3, 2024 & what's in the update, but I don't see a version# anywhere. Anyone know where to find the Software version if not on this screen?
I was a bit unsure where they wanted the bead of adhesive by their instructions as well. After a few dry fittings and feeling around, I determined that the adhesive had to go directly beneath tape (very slight groove there) in order to make contact with the original splitter. Once it was dry I...
Bit of both, Dash reported 26.2 mpg for the trip, but manual calc of miles to approx gas (I didn't run it to empty on the highway) had her at 27.3 mpg. This all with a fair bit of "in-town" driving in the middle.
Just returned from my first extended (7 hours each way) road trip, my GT 5.0L/A10 averaged over 26mpg with a fair amount of holiday traffic delays. It likely would have been closer to 29-30 without all of the stop & go. Top dropped, cruised beautifully, what a fantastic ride!
Not sure if you purchased yet, but here is another option that I found after I had already purchased mine. It appears to be very similar to the Ford part except its a bolt-on instead of a glue-on. I would have preferred the bolt-on (remove the old) as I was leery about a glue-on splitter. So...
As another poster mentioned, ground clearance change is minimal, maybe about 1 inch in total. It actually lines the chin splitter up better with the rocker panels, IMO. Also as mentioned, not sure why this isn't the standard splitter as the factory splitter is just weak for a performance car.
I moved forward with installing the splitter today. I did use a pair of clamps in the wheel wells to hold the bottom of the new splitter against the old, but that was the only place that I felt they were needed. Here's a few before/after photos. Pretty happy with the look of the new splitter!
Just got my new Splitter ( MUSTANG 2024 AIR DESIGN® SATIN BLACK FRONT FASCIA SPLITTER KIT ). Wondering if those who have installed theirs, did you use any clamps or anything to hold the splitter in place while the adhesive is curing other than the tape? Any tips or quips to empart before I...
Nice, see you there! As much as I wanted to go with the manual, I went with the Auto & hoping that I can paddle shift. Didn't want to have to take either hand off the wheel.
Been thinking about swapping mine out, but I do occasionally listen to the radio instead of BT. How's the reception on the stubby? Swapped an antenna on a previous car and its horrible.
Don't have a lot of pics, but here's a few more. Actually Shadow Black with NPP was my original config and changed to this right before ordering based pics from a promotional shoot with Vapor Blue and Space Grey interior. Wife and I both agreed, 1st time in 33 years! :)
