I am back and forth from Michigan and Illinois and don't mind driving on a clean cold day but I stay away with summer tires. Next winter will be different.
I have the summer tires and definitely can tell when not gripping in daily driving with a manual. Mine sits in the garage but if......no snow, no salt, no rain then I will take it for a quick spin but baby it just to drive. Moving to all seasons at the end of fall this year.
I would like to replace my stock tires with all season tires for longer driving times in Illinois and Michigan. Mine will not be used at the track, what is the widest tire that can be installed on the standard 8.5" wheels in the back? Current is 275's. Thanks much.
Just asking the question. If I wanted a "go faster" Mustang I would have gotten the auto trans and coupe, maybe even the Dark Horse but my intent is to cruise and "let the dogs out" every once in a while. Previous post about headers indicated about 20hp gain but IMO not worth the money for just...
Thank you gentlemen. Something to consider, especially if just using my Mustang to tool around with the top down for 9 months. Not planning on going to the track but having a little extra power and sound is a good thing.
