What part of FL are you in? If you're relatively close to the AL side, then I would highly suggest making yourself a cargurus/autotrader search setup to look in MS, AL, even west GA for cars once they start arriving. I've had good luck finding stuff at decent pricing a few times over the last...
@NightSurgeX2
If that's the dark horse, I'm coming here to publicly admit I was wrong :lipssealed:. Was seriously expecting the mid pipe to be something like the GT350s.
That's also potentially good news though. Swapping out the suitcase shown in the OP for a true X has shown 5-7 HP. However...
Their comment "This is a very good, non ford performance mustang" I think is accurate, but likely to hurt some feelings. My personal struggle is the above comment, considering the price point of the car they were driving. However, someone not currently in a M1 or a 350, will be super happy with...
REVan Evan's take is about I think what most of us expected. More refined, more controllable, not significantly faster in top tier driver's hands, but easier to drive fast for the average joe. That's still a win to me.
Valid point. They DO make it a point to constantly ooze over the fox body gauge option. So maybe that's a precursor? Same as you, just completely a friday afternoon, from left field comment.
For those too lazy to search, can you paraphrase what was said about that? Or was it a one-liner comment?
Also, Spark Horse got an audible chuckle. Good job.
Edit: Nvm I found it.
Key point highlighted. You're assuming the dark horse sticks around for a while. I do not think it will be more than a 2, MAYBE 3 year run. At that point, it would make sense to introduce something in the "GT350 spot", that would be a nudge over the DH. There will be a shelby car early....but...
Go ahead and buy the Goodyears, especially if you're getting any kind of discount on them. If you didn't know:
*Tires exposed to temperatures of 20 degrees F (-7 degrees C) or lower must be permitted to gradually return to temperatures of at least 40 degrees F (5 degrees C) for at least 24...
I really don’t mean any offense. Mostly a tease. Shit does happen (and I hope everyone’s ok). Fair point on it’s an example of what a dealer can work with. Always go in with a decent idea based off local credit unions, then let the dealers go to work and they might surprise you. As long as hard...
It was. But I'll still hold my guestimate if the DH makes a second year run. That's the major factor. Could be off, but if I'm not, hey it's good news so LOL
It depends on how long of a run the dark horse will have. MSRP pricing will be the exception at first (for those who didn't order), then it won't. GT350s could easily be found with 20-25K ADMs in the first year. Halfway through the second year, you could find them at MSRP. And that was a Shelby.
How much do you plan on driving it? If it's just a few times a week, and the rest of the truck is in good condition (for a 2004), I'd get it. At 130K, you could run into some stuff relatively soon, but if you're putting 10K on the truck a year, you could be fine for years.
I know someone with...
1. Doesn't matter so long as a model change or update won't occur. This can happen if you order something, but unlikely. You could probably weed that out with some research on the forums for the vehicles you're cross-shopping.
2. Will vary with each individual. Usually some balance of...
