I'm assuming we're talking about the Ecoboost you listed in your profile. It's super shady that they didn't bother to tell you about a recall that was announced in March. Personally, I think it's unethical to sell something that you know you can't deliver, unless it was disclosed ahead of time...

I really wanted to avoid the texture from the factory plastic. They smoothed everything out and color matched. A new cover is ~$200 from Ford and I paid $270 painted and shipped. That seemed reasonable for what I got.

Shipping time was only about 3 days. They are located in Ohio. The lead time on the custom paint is what took so long.

I have been checking mine every 1000 to 1500 miles. It’s always had a ounce or two in it.

I really could have done without the drivers side can. It has never collected a drop. The passenger side collects a reasonable amount of junk.

Forgive my ignorance. If it needs a lithium battery charger for standalone charging, how is the car going to safely charge it? The battery management system is expecting a lead acid AGM battery, no?
