Back in freshman year of college my friend had a 'Cuda AAR. We were getting on the highway late one night and I was driving and I asked him just how fast the car was. We were at the top of the ramp and he said, "hit it". A semi was coming under the overpass as I was starting down the entrance...
My wife sometimes asks me if I have enough bottles of bourbon - but can any of us have enough? I keep telling her that there are vast differences between them and so on any given night I will try different ones - and that's why I don't simply open a bottle and drink that one down.
And to my...
Single Barrel Social -
we like Bourbon's and Brighton Bar and Grill, and the Canopy Lounge as well, but SBS is our all time favorite. We go there and Canopy often enough that the staff know us when we come in.
Happy New Year!
My wife and I had a nice dinner at our favorite restaurant and then checked out the lights in downtown Brighton, MI and the "tunnel of lights" at the Millpond downtown.

It's a car, I drive it year round and have done so with all 7 Mustangs I have owned. I have winter wheels and tires and summer wheels and tires and swap them in November and March.
Because it is a car and made to be driven. I have always used my Mustangs year round. Drove my 2006 for over 200,000 miles in SE Michigan and commuted daily from Port Huron, MI to downtown Detroit. Never had an issue. No rusting of the car. Ran it through an underbody spray wash each week in the...
What I like about the Pro-Charger option is that you keep the strut tower brace.
When I had my 2006 with the V6 I had the Xcharger on it and a friend had the Pro-Charger on his. Both of us had convertibles so similar cars. At the drag strip what I liked with the roots style was I had the...
My best was in my 2006 Mustang Pony convertible. I was lining up against an older Camaro, making a lot of noise with a loud exhaust, and his friend called out, "no problem it's just a V6".
Did my burnout and then hit the nitrous purge. Treed him and he never caught me and took the win. My...
My worst drag racing experience was in a friends' GT350. He swapped to a different shifter and it meant that it was very close. I did my burnout and as I was staging I kept thinking, "wow, this is so tight but I am pretty sure I am in first". Light went green and --- "son of a ...." car was in...
Keeping it stock. A supercharger would be nice, but I don't want to give up the strut tower brace, and already hitting 135+ on the back straight - I can't imagine 800 HP and running up to 150+ and trying to make the 90 degree turn 11 to the front straight at Gingerman!
It's simple. Ford warranties the car that Ford built (the dealer doesn't warranty the car, Ford does).
When you modify the car it is no longer the car that Ford built, it is now the car that you built. If our modification can be found to have caused the failure then Ford will deny warranty...
