I was looking at the MOCA events as well - nearly tagged along on their run to Redcliffe a few weeks ago, just to see what the turn out was like. Not sure if it is all older Mustangs (more of a restoration type vibe), rather than new models.
They have got a run coming up Feb 2nd to Mt Tamborine...
I've gotta say I didn't even see the post about rescheduling the trip - my bad. I'd be keen to catch up next weekend if you're up for it (weather permitting of course...).
That's a very thorough list. Problem is, when you are there for delivery, you'll get in the car, start giggling like a school-girl (sorry any school-girls on here) and just want to drive off... :cwl:
Just spoke to my Dealer about booking in for the 3000k checkup and they still don’t have the software update to fix this.
Strange that they have been able to fix the cars on the dock, but not the ones already on the road. 🤨
I wonder what this means for those of us that have their car but are still subject to the recall - it doesn't sound like it is an OTA fix - more like a "book it in" issue...
I wonder if this comes with the boot lid spoiler panel, or if you would have to drill into our existing spoiler delete panel to mount it - might explain some of the cost...
I notice a few guys have had their new cars delivered this last week or so - do any of you know if your cars were on the recall list and it has been sorted before delivery, or were your cars not subject to the recall in the first place?
There is a whole thread on here about the spare tyre sizes etc - the 20" rim works out to be 6mm smaller rolling diameter, so fits into the boot easier. I went with the 20" and it slides into the boot well nicely - I wouldn't want it to be 6mm bigger...
But doesn't a car cover mean you don't have to clean it so often... I thought you 2 detailing legends would be wishing for your cars to get dusty so you had to detail them again...
My car is affected by the recall, although I haven't had any issues with it...
I asked my Dealer what the process is and he was going to get back to me... that was 3 weeks ago and I've heard nothing.
I've been using Bowdens products for many years now - ever since I did a tour through the Bowdens Museum... now that would make an awesome road trip for us Qlders... :sunglasses:
Edit: Just looked back at some of the photos from the tour...
