  1. New Experiences "Unleashed Events" are Coming for 2024 Mustang Owners

Nice, I'm scheduled for the road course (DH/Manual) on Aug 18/19 at Charlotte.
  2. We Dyno The 2024 Mustang GT K&N Intake + Compare to Carbon Trap Delete & High Flow Drop-in Filters

Yeah, if you ride around with your hood off.... He is right though, should have tested with the hood down with the stock pipes and box. I think this is a good video to let the consumer know what they are or are not getting for $650-$700. I like the look of the K&N system myself, however; IMO...
  3. Mustang GTD In-Cabin Window Displays State-of-the-Art Racing Suspension

I guess the question is...how much for the special orange zip ties.... :-).
  4. Easy suspension mod that all S650 should have!

Not my first rodeo or first Mustang. Been doing this for a long time and wasted plenty of $$$ over the years due to mod boredom and/or trial and error. I was blowing out the rear end of a 2011 GT from wheel hop at the strip before any of these solutions for the S197, S550, and S650 were made. I...
  5. Easy suspension mod that all S650 should have!

Ahhhh, adding parts for the sake of adding parts. I'd wait to add the Whipple then drive/ test the car (safely) to see how it responds to determine what, if anything, is needed beyond what you already have. The extra power is going to change the dynamics on how the car responds. Traction will...
  6. Spoiler Delete?

Yep, after and before, lol. Current (left pic)/ stock (right pic). Only difference now is the exhaust is different and the tip is adjusted in more...and different badging.
  7. Spoiler Delete?

I can dig it either way but do prefer the RTR vs none.
  8. My X-pipe to HH-pipe swap experience

Here is the video from Zander13 when he swapped the XX to the HH. I haven't done a video with the Corsa exhaust yet on my channel, lol.
  9. My X-pipe to HH-pipe swap experience

No worries, I still rock the Corsa XX pipe and have no plans to change!
  10. 2024 BMW i4 M50

Heavier and cost, yeah.....size, not really, when referring to the coupe version of the BMW..... 191″ L x 75″ W x 53″ H (BMW) vs. 189-190″ L x 75-76″ W x 55″ H (Mustang). Wasn't really comparing them overall, just the likeness of their side profile (coupe version). I actually prefer the nose...
  11. De-Badging

Lol, I have no issue with the badge changes. Its your car, just like I changed the rear GT on mine to the running horse (Mustang) and the 5.0s on the side to the Powered by Ford badges. In your case, now you are going to get the "Why didn't you get a Dark Horse" question or the "You should have...
  12. 2024 BMW i4 M50

I mean, if you want to compare Mustang vs BMW, i think the M8 (2 door version) fits that.
  13. Whipple

I’d guess high 600s at the wheels, depending on the dyno/dyno settings, fuel used (93/ e30/ octane booster), and gear pulled in.
  14. JPGC_S650’s 2024 GT Build thread

Change the “GT” badge for a running Mustang 8-)
  15. Typewriter Tick/ BBQ tick fact compilation?

Of the ten Mustangs that I have owned, including this 2024 GT, three of them were Coyotes (2024 GT, 2019 GT, 2011 GT). Of those three Coyotes, all three have had the tick at one time or another. I would even bet that a large percent of Coyote owners who say they don't have the tick, actually...
  16. Daily Driver - Empty Catch Can Frequency?

I check mine about every 1k miles and it usually has around a tablespoon of oil in the can. Like previously said, check it more frequently at first to see how much oil you collect. That strut tower brace does make it a little bit more of a pain, for sure.
  17. Front suspension "clunks" when driving over bump/dips after mild Steeda lowering springs.

Nice! Glad it was a simple issue. The 3 upper strut mount bolts on each side are 46 ft lbs.
  18. Battery Management

I said the same thing at first since my Mustang is my daily driver and I drive 90% of the time locally, so no need to charge or worry about charging it. However; I understand as I do the same thing with my motorcycle as it is a weekend toy for me.
  19. Active Exhuast aftermarket options ?

Yeah, the Corsas are mild when not in the throttle. The Flowmasters, on the other hand, are not, lol
