This probably sounds crazy, but I put painters tape along the driver's side door sill to protect it when I take my car in. Tired of getting scuff marks from shoes on it.

I tend to agree about the screen being distracting. I really don't use the features on mine with the exception of the AVE. I did use the heat this past fall before I put it into storage. Again, it's a toy and not my daily driver.

I think you can have the best of both worlds. I could have ordered a base GT, but again I was thinking ahead about the resale value. Maybe that's a crazy way to look at it, but that's my reasoning. I'm sure you're right and I'll give it a try. I've never been a fan of A/C in my cars or at home. Don't even use it much in my daily drivers. Just me. I never used it in either of my C7 Z06's, but my '16 only had 3,000 miles on it when I sold it, and my '19 had 4,000 miles on it when I sold it...

I typically run my A/C for about 30 minutes in the spring and about the same length of time in the fall before I put bit into storage.

FYI I have a 2018 Malibu and a 2017 Ford Escape in my driveway. Yes, I do have an optioned out 2024. I very seldom use air conditioning or any of the other features. I was thinking ahead to resale value because that's what younger people want today.
