The steering modes are Normal, Sport and Comfort. There are up to 4 icons at the bottom of the driver display (4 with Magneride and 3 without) that tell you what settings are in use. The image below shows the steering in sport with the S against the steering icon. It will show a 'feather' when...
There is no going back already. Yes some are now transitioning slower and more PHEV's are popping up than originally expected but all of the R&D money and environmental pressure is only going one way. There isn't a 180 going on just a slightly slower transition with extended lifetime ICE cars...
The biggest difference is weight which means you can either fit a larger battery for more range or have the same capacity and less weight for greater efficiency. Quite a few cars up around 400 miles plus now, but efficiency is where the real gains are coming from at the moment.
I suspect the S650 will limp on and overlap with an S750 which will be an electrified alternative on a completely new platform. I can't see there being a bespoke platform for such small volumes.

No, just the one battery (and most European S/S systems just have one higher spec battery), so no need to be annoyed about something that doesn't exist  . The more modern systems use an integrated starter generator (ISG) which actually simplifies things more than having an alternator...
I think it is both actually, but clearly different countries have different regulatory structures. Certainly NOx is an issue in cities in the UK and the introduction of S/S and other hybrid technologies as well as low emissions regulations have had a significant impact on this here to residents...
Name calling! I think you will find you were the first to sling an insult suggesting that I should go on a Prius forum. I don't have a Prius I have a nice V8 thank you, hence why your comment was stupid!
Annoying to you, but not me. What happened to freedom of choice, I thought you were...
Stupid comment!
Porsche 911 has stop start and that isn't a Prius either!
Ironically the Prius does NOT have stop start as it is a hybrid :giggle:
I am glad my Mustang has stop start and that I am not burning money when not moving.
