Again, this is the response of an uneducated person. As you clearly have not traveled and are uninformed. The cost of owning a home in Brooklyn is top 10 in the country. What you know about Brooklyn and is restricted to what you see from movies. I’m not going to debate with a random person on the internet about money. Keep crying about how you lost a few thousand on a car. You have to go back to your real life once you log off. In reality you have no grand sport, you probably submitted your sc order without the means to pay for it and that’s why you canceled it. You are jealous and are back here talking about how terrible ford is because you have no money, no sc, and no grand sport lol

Looks like I can forget about ordering one. Stopped in at our local (and only dealer in Anchorage area) today inquiring about ordering a Dark Horse. Dealer is Kendall Ford in Wasilla Alaska.
Sales person went and talked to "manager" and they came back and told me they have zero interest in trying to get an allocation for a regular or super charged Dark Horse. If I want a Mustang they told me to option a GT with plenty of options.
This is how they treat a customer who has bought 2 new vehicles from them in 2 years and has another on order. There won't be anymore, lol.

They probably have their allocation reserved for a high ranking employee or didn't get an allocation.

Either way, terrible way to handle that.

Part of the bigger issue is - interest rates, gas prices, insurance cost, and the overall cost of living. People (other than very well off) do not have the luxury anymore of buying a garage queen or a one purpose vehicle and tying up over $100K when they go to the grocery store and drop $450 dollars for two adults and a child, fill up their SUV and drop $75 at the pump, open the insurance bill and are staring at $2500 or more a year vehicle insurance, 6-7% for car loans pushing peoples payments to over $1200 a month, utility bills of $400 - $500 a month, never ending property tax hikes, price gouging, medical insurance, medical bills not covered by insurance, blah, blah, blah -

Living today for some folks IS STAGGERING so a Supercharged Mustang isn't even in the cards, not even close for most folks.

That’s true. I supercharged my fully loaded Dark Horse with a Roush First Edition Supercharger. The performance and feel is incredible for about 100K all in, including TTL and PPF.

A lot of my friends think I’m crazy to get rid of my Supercharged DH to pay an extra 80K difference for a loaded DH SC…

The new one is amazing, but the standard DH is pretty incredible already.

I think a lot of people mix up multiple things. I own a dark horse, Supercharging a dark horse does not make it equivalent or comparable to a sc. Dollar for dollar, if your goal is to be fast in a straight line then a supercharged dark horse is sufficient and is financially smarter than buying a sc. But that’s the problem, people think peak hp # is what defines the vehicle. They see it as a supercharged dark horse or gt can make 850+ hp and therefore is comparable, equivalent, or better than a SC, and that’s far from the truth. Put them on a track and the sc will embarrass a dark horse. A supercharged dark horse should not be compared head to head to a sc. but if your goal is to go fast in a straight line and gap most regular traffic cars from a dig at stop signs and Red lights, then just supercharge a gt and call it a day.

Yeah that’s the problem. Ford’s launch of this vehicle has been terrible if I’m being objective. I still believe that the SC will be the vehicle all of us expect/hope it will be. But that can be separated from the launch experience. And that’s where ford dropped the ball

I purchased this vehicle because it is not a new platform, but rather an update to a proven platform. The 20-22 gt500 5.2 predator and dct earned it stripes. The SC just being an update to that proven platform made me feel safe dropping 110k on a vehicle that hasn’t been independently reviewed. But that’s just my particular risk assessment, although the average customer may not deem that acceptable. Which is why i said ford dropped the ball, there’s just way too much that is still unknown about the vehicle and how it performs that ford can justify expecting the average customers to drop that much money on a car with all to go on is reputation from a 6+ year old car. But in the end, i don’t think we will be disappointed. But ford didn’t launch the vehicle properly. Just my 2 cents.

Agreed. The comments made in some of the early press that the front suspension tuning and brakes are more similar to GTD is nice. And the rear suspension is an improved version of the 20-22 GT500 says a lot. Add the rear aero improvements and it will be interesting to see. I know when I drive my 500 to the Dark Horse back to back, the Dark Horse is definitely a more refined car. So a GT500 that is more refined is interesting to me.

Yeah that definitely is the most interesting part to me. Ford just barely made its summer availability promise by starting to get them to dealers/customer last week. I wish we would’ve had more time with great weather to enjoy the cars in but what can you do lol
