You would think....in 2026....the manufacturers would have perfected something as simple as a $#@! lug nut. But nooooo, they get to save a few cents and pass the problem on to us.
Glad you got it sorted out, but I thought it worth mentioning for everyone.
If you have the rear seat folded down and Easy Exit/Entry enabled, the driver seat no longer has the full rearward travel it needs, and hits the folded down back seat. What resulted was the seat getting hung up, but...
I tried it on my 25...didn't work. though I popped the trunk first before hitting unlock then clicking again and holding. Think I messed the sequence up?
Nice! You might want to look at Billetworkz for a custom shifter knob. Would really set off your interior. you can then get a custom shifter stalk which is super easy to install, looks better and the lockout button is now a knuckle drop instead of a thumb press.
OK I get the OP question. Set your cold tire pressure to the baseline of outside, not the car park.
Think of it this way, if you parked your car in a giant freezer, your tires would be way out of wack when you got outside on a warm day.
If you inflated your tires to 32 in the cold garage...
In the limited foot time I've been playing with this feature, I'm going to say one medium press will drop your gears and increase your throttle, obviously.
But I believe the double tap drops the same amount of gears by depressing the pedal less. But it seems to be totally by feel and results...
I played with it a little more yesterday. Seems a light double tap brings you to 3000 RPM. and a firmer double tap takes it more towards 5000 RPM.
Someone mentioned a few pages back that the target might be RPM's. He might be right?
Again, I'm releived this bit of knowledge was so well received. I just Googled it and apparently any Ford A10 trans will do this.
Though I saw on Reddit some said any auto trans will do this, which I don't believe.
Ninjack: It may work in your Raptor. If yours has the 10 speed, it is very...
It's an odd feature for sure!
A quick double stab got a gear kickdown for me from a steady cruise. But rereading you said from coasting, so I guess you are saying it won't kick down if the foot is off the pedal to start with?
I agree, it seems it's best feature is not being stuck in paddle...
I went from a 2006 GT to this 2025, and it was like going from the Flintstone mobile to a high tech spaceship. There is a staggering amount of tech features that are new to me....lol.
