I noticed the same weak "whooo" noise on mine between 62 - 74 mph (100 - 120 km/h) when coasting, I waited until I had a little over 1500 miles and changed the differential oil using Ford 75W-85 and XL-3 additive. Later I found out that this additive is only required for the Traction-Lok diffs...
