The clunk when downshifting at slow speeds seems to be not uncommon:

You are correct, the very first Dark Horses did not come with a spoiler. It was changed very early on to look like the advertisement pictures.
But seeing one in Austria is quite unusual, their vehicles taxes are outrageous. Did some googling, first-time registration tax is about 43,000€, yearly...
I would assume so, diesel engine oil is made so that if some gets burned it does not poison the DPF/GPF as much (Low SAPS). Also the thinner viscosity could reduce the fuel consumption WLTP figure by a small amount.
That warning is always active and I have not yet seen an option to disable it. It comes on way sooner when the cruise control + lane centering is enabled. When driving without cruise control or cruise control without lane centering it appears very rarely.
I've also noticed this clunk when it is warmed up in the same speed range as described above. It does not do it all the time but quite often. When rolling to a stop in N there is no noise.
Main point "if you have a lift" (I wish 😄)
It seems that you have to mark where it sits, remove the four...
You can tell the difference just by starting in normal exhaust mode, that startup roar is mostly fake (now that it is disabled). While driving it is similar but overall the noise level is reduced, acceleration sounds less bassy.
Not sure if a recording would work since most microphones in...
My Dark Horse has this configuration:
ACM 727-01-01
original: BC33 14F4 1037
new: xxxx xxxx 0xxx
The difference in interior noise is very noticeable, IMHO it's absurd how much fake noise was generated through the speakers.
Model year 2026 cars (identifiable by the T at the 10th digit in the VIN, only works with cars built in the US) are already in Europe, I bought one earlier this year. It also does not show a recall on the Ford website for my VIN.
No, only the automatic transmission cars have an oil cooler for the transmission. Engine oil cooler is a separate unit and installed in both AT and MT cars.
Oil change on the manual transmission is just drain and fill.
EDIT: It seems that the 3160 manual transmission uses an oil cooler. For...
I've dealt with these interfaces on German cars before, they only seem good at first glance.
I've had one where the screen afterwards looked ok but the menu icons seemed not as sharp. Then I noticed that the first few lines of pixels were black and that there were error codes related to...
I don't have experience with Android Auto but CarPlay is not an issue, once you manually switch over to the dashcam WiFi on the phone it stays connected to that. You have to tap the phone tile on the SYNC main screen once to reconnect the CarPlay WiFi and that's it.
I have the FitCamX camera and have to say it works pretty well. Installation is easy but I added some more felt tape around the wiring of it, you also have to be careful not to pinch any wiring. I have installed dashcams before by tapping into existing circuits, this plug-n-play installation is...
I also found this post in another forum where someone with a S550 said the noise disappeared on its own with more mileage: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/rear-diff-whine-while-coasting.213743/#post-4248544
No, I don't think that's a good idea since you would run the risk of running it dry.
I drained the diff by removing the E-clip on the lower cooler line (where the drain plug on a GT would be) and carefully pulling the hose out of the connector letting it drain for a couple minutes, then...
If you go by the technical data published by Ford it says that all Mustangs get a locking differential ("Sperrdifferential") but only on the Dark Horse it says Torsen:
https://www.ford.de/content/dam/guxeu/de/documents/price-list/cars/mustang/TechSpec_Mustang_MY25.pdf
Yes, the EU version has a...
I noticed the same weak "whooo" noise on mine between 62 - 74 mph (100 - 120 km/h) when coasting, I waited until I had a little over 1500 miles and changed the differential oil using Ford 75W-85 and XL-3 additive. Later I found out that this additive is only required for the Traction-Lok diffs...
