Like 2+ years ago I won a screen protector from @Screen Protech and shortly after receiving it my grandpa passed unexpectedly then both me and my fiance got laid off from our jobs.

I ended up putting it on the back burner but I finally managed to put it on. With the premium having the connected screens I was nervous to install it but it went on with no issues at all.

I was really impressed with the packaging, and im not saying this because I got it for free. It arrived in a custom printed tube with a squeegee, microfiber and a spray bottle with some kind of concentrated application fluid inside (probably just soap lol)

My advice to you is to do your prep work, dust everything around the area and spray your finger tips before handling the film. Align the edges and then start from the center and work out to the edges

Also, dont do what I did and turn the AC on.. it blows the film around and makes it hard to handle

Ill grab some more pictures, hopefully within the next 3 years

I've got mine too and I've been procrastinating for over a month. I just need to do it. I still have the protective film from the factory on mine (still) and it looks ghetto.

I bought one last year and never put it on once I discovered the factory screen already has a protector on it.

@Dapsters ..... thanks for the advice. Hope you and your fiance are ok now, jobs wise.
Were doing a lot better, we went from being bakers to a commercial mail print shop. The printer that I run costs like $10M and is bigger than some people's trailers

I added a screen protector to my 2024 wide screen early on and it is a really great change. Shows ZERO fingerprints and maintains full visibility. Was very easy to install, just follow the directions exactly and take your time. It has been on now almost two years with no problems. Just a quick wipe and it's good as new. Bought mine through LMR, but just do a web search. They have options for both screen types. Cannot go wrong!

Screen protectors are non-negotiable for these cars. 4 months after picking up mine as the first owner, the AR coating started to delaminate and look like shit where the home icon is mainly and other high touch areas. Delaminated just from me tapping there, impressively bad coating from Ford. All I used to clean the screen was some ONR and a clean microfiber with light pressure like I cleaned tge screen on my last Mustang countless times without issue.

Yep, I got the same problem on high traffic areas that I touch. Luckily the screen protector hides it and looks good as new

Think I will try again. Ordered and got the film in and as I’m getting ready to place it on the display, I’m telling myself to be careful and not let any parts of it touch and I BE DAMMED!!! 😡🤬 No A/C on and was parked in the garage so no wind or air flow. Ughhhhhh!!! 😖🤣

Will order again I’m sure and may just get 2 as the site offered just in case.

Did you spray down the raw display before trying to place the film? If so, you have no problem sliding it around to get it positioned perfectly, and then use the plastic squeegee to start working out the spray from middle to edges. I did mine with no issues at all like that. You just have to take your time and follow the instructions. Not trying to tell you how to go here, just this is the proscribed method from the OEM to get these films installed correctly. Hopefully, you and try again without spending the money for two of them! Good luck!

Yes, I did all the Prep work and followed the instructions to a T!! My issue happened in hand unfortunately and that adhesive backing is quite strong. Didn’t get to apply the film at all. 😖🤷🏽‍♂️.

I am thinking on working it from the left edge to the right peeling off the backing and smoothing as I go this time (Already re-ordered this morning).

I'm still confused TBH. I did a second one as well, as the first ended up with a small bubble in the middle I just could not get rid of! Anyway, the problematic first one just peeled right off, so it is mostly stuck on there by static I guess. No real adhesive at all. I just did the instructed clean-up for the second one, sprayed it down well before applying the new film and worked it around into position and did a better job slowly and thoroughly getting all the spray residue and bubble squeegeed out to the edges. That has been over a year now and it still looks perfect. Hope you have better luck this next time!

Sorry if it’s coming out confusing but the film touched (almost like folding) and then became unusable if that makes sense. I tried to separate it by pulling it apart gently but that wasn’t the answer. Not sure if it was a sudden movement by me or hand positioning pre install but bottom line is the backing touched itself and it was ruined after that. It’s been some months since this happened and I’m sure I followed the instructions well but it happened. It won’t happen a second time. 😅

OK, that makes more sense. Still would have thought it would not have stuck to itself if you had sprayed the "adhesive side" down well with the soap mixture. But, like me, live and learn!
