That was an awesome video, even though the speeds were in kph, that's crazy fast in most of those corners.

Completing a lap in 6:15. That makes it the third fastest car around the ring ever, the fastest American car, the fastest gas only car with the 1st and 2nd place cars being a hybrid and EV respectively, and the fastest car that's actually sold to people, 1st and 2nd were one offs owned by their brands that customers can't buy.

Overall, this is really badass. I really hope they take these learnings, and apply it to future mid-engine Ford models as well as other stuff. It's insane how Ford's just going all out right now.

The ring has class rules for a reason. The comparing of racecars to production cars is just asinine (no one here, just online BS across all forums). I say we just appreciaciate the insance tech, engineering, and drive it takes to set any kind of record anymore! The GTD, ZR1, ZR1x, GT MkIV, etc., are all pretty damn awesome in their respective ways.
