Looking into what I want to do next with my stang and I feel like it will either be headers or no headers. I'm in a state (Missouri, St Louis specifically) that requires emissions so would need to be catted headers, but what research I've done it looks like even the catted headers will throw up a check engine code. Seen a few videos for work arounds with some tubes or what not but not sure how that will impact the emissions testing's. What are all your thoughts, Green catted headers I've been reading still throw the code

I had Kooks green catted headers on my S550 and never had any issues. I’m in a state that checks emissions via OBD as well. I have no experience with them on the S650 though.

I put on the catless Kooks 1 7/8" headers about two or so weeks ago. I used the Vibrant Performance o2 defoulers 19019. So far so good with no check engine light. *knock on wood*

Hey there!
Kooks green cat headers should not throw a code.
We have had countless customers use Kooks green amongst multiple platforms with success.
Kooks is known to provide excellent fitment and quality, too.
Check them out here, just click me.

Another benefit of the high flowing green cats is the fact it can support higher HP (and boost). Just so you know you are building for the (potential) future.

<3 you guys Lethal Performance just had my axel back corsa exhaust show up and already got the double H pipe going to install it here in the next couple weekends. I've read that the kooks headers go in sale for black friday pretty significant discount and was going to wait until then to think about picking them up. Hopefully they have the green ones on sale too and I can get it installed at a ford dealership to keep warranty.
