I think the Nite Pony Package only works on certian colors, like the White one above. Otherwise the blackout thing just seems overplayed. Just my worthless opinion.
You got that right. Like black on black. Nice thing about it is black doesn't come with a black roof, isn't that great πŸ‘? That's kind of a no duh thing. The regular colors look good with the Nite Horse. Dark colors need some chrome. I think I'll go to the dealer and have them hold it for me. Should be there in a few months. All of a sudden I like Oxford white. Shows off the front end. Maybe have the roof painted with a Jolly Roger. Probably not, but it's a thought.

Black Pack 5.0 Fender Emblems

I returned home with a pair of these from a work trip to the USA just over a year ago, the first post in this thread actually - four months before I took delivery of the car,
Where did those 12 months go? :wait:

I was never keen on the standard black wheels we get in Australia, so the Black Pack (AKA Nite Pony pack in the US) was never a consideration for me, but I did like the blacked-out 5.0 emblems.

However I must admit, over time, the chrome emblems have grown on me.
Here's what the two look like side-by-side.

I was still debating whether to fit the black emblems or not over the weekend.

However, the money was already spent, so it was high time to fit them!

Nice. I'd like to find some atlas blue 5.0 badges, and running horse for both the grill and deck lid. I know they put running horses on Ecoboost deck lids. I prefer the Running Horse to the GT. Maybe the letters MUSTANG instead?

My Buddy and I took our Dark Horses out to Strech their legs. We started in Ranburne AL and went north through Heflin, Piedmont, Little River Canyon, Mentone, Desoto Falls, Stevenson and back down through Guntersville, Gadsden, Piedmont, Heflin and back to Ranburne. Had great weather, but it did get hot in the afternoon. Here are the pics.

this is how the Nite Horse looks. Nothing special, just a package.

Well damn, I really didn't want to black out my roof with the heat and all, but this is really making me want to. I got the cheapest ecoboost on the lot and she just feels rather vanilla.

Use PPF. No muss, no fuss. Easiest way to do it.

Any specific recommendations? I've done a little wrapping before on a grill, probably worst case scenario. It came out alright. Flat surface should be alot easier.

I'd take it to the pros. Plus if you don't like it you could take it off. Would like to have the rest of the stuff they put on Nite Ponies. Especially the rims. These 18s aren't the best things. 19s would be great. If I did my roof it would be black with the Jolly Roger on it.

Haha. I'd never take it in. I do almost all my vehicle stuff on my own, it's not that wrapping would be hard, I'm just not experienced with it. Looking back on it, I found out I did literally one of the most difficult jobs with one of the most difficult wraps. It held up for 3 years before I sold the truck so I know I did something right.

As for the rims and stuff, they're definitely on the chopping block. But right now I'm doing stuff that I can generally get the materials for free.

I'll get a better pic of it when it's done (waiting for the alignment rack) but the ride was great on the test drive. Bilstein shocks/struts, FP track springs, Pedder's top mounts and sway bar links and a set of BMR camber bolts for the alignment.
