Area is flooded with them. No one really notices, usually. The occasional “nice car” at the gas pumps.

Lots of waves from other Mustangs - still not used to it. It's like the Harley wave. Me have Harley and him have Harley, must wave to him cause him have Harley.

I do surprisingly get a lot of thumbs up from random cars AND motorcycles. Truckers too

And the little kids pumping their hands in the air. Always gotta make noise for the kids

Try driving past a high school at home time. I used to be one of the kids begging for someone to rev it up, well I'm giving back to the community now.

Just wondering what some people's reactions have been from other drivers has been over the years. Personally I've had mostly good but get the occasional middle finger for whatever reason. 😀

Can't please them all....
People are too busy on their cell phones to notice what's going on around them. Beware.

Went with a group through Surfers Paradise the other night, and lots of mixed reactions, lots of people on phones, lots of rev it gesturing, Police counting cars and taking photo's, and one "Bunch of D-heads" comment.

But don't mind obliging the kids when they request a bit of noise.....I used to get a kick out of it back when.

The S650's are few and far over here, so do attract a bit of attention, and nearly everytime I have pulled in to fill up, someone will ask about the car, especially if the come from the side or from behind, the badges throw people off......comments are always on how good it looks or on the sound.

When I was at the age, I was car crazy. My Dad wasn't and still isn't interested in cars, to him they are simply a consumer devise to from A to B. The family car was always something boring, always the base model. A 1990 Magna wagon, manual, white...............the cheapest he could find. A base model EB II Falcon wagon followed, then a gutless first-gen Subaru Forrester, again, base model, manual. That was replaced by a brand new BA Futura sedan in 2003, which I begged him to buy, the second from base Futura was as far as I could get him to go.

It's around that time when one of Dad's employees would buy the latest Falcon every year. Dad lined up a ride along in his AU III XR6 VCT Ute, then the brand-new BA XR6 Turbo Ute, both fully loaded. My uncle, who was the spare parts manager at the Ford dealer, got me a ride in the new BA FPV GT in 2003.............................there was no turning back from that moment.

So without access to a cool car within my own household, I was relying others to fuel my passion for cars. Be that the ride alongs above, or by watching/listening to other people's cool cars.

After working hard, I'm now the guy with cool cars. If someone wants to hear a V8 Mustang roar, then who am I to deny that pleasure. And for those with a dirty mind, there is absolutely nothing remotely inappropriate about the above.
