There is a new BROCHURE out (V.2), V.13Dec23,

However unfortunately no increase in power, or correction from the 15.4 Kw and 16.7 Nm we somehow lost from the host US Spec car.

Download Brochure (ford.com.au)
I wonder what they changed.

It still says this which has to be wrong:
S650 Mustang 2024 Mustang Australia (AU) Pricing and Timing Schedule 1704761605527

The Recaros are not powered seats. They are manually adjusted. Unless we get a very special version of them.

One trivial GT spec change I noticed was peak torque is now specified @ 100 RPM higher.

First 24MY brochure release:

24/2024.50MY release:

The only other 24/24.50MY change I can see, without requiring a microscope, is the addition of a heated steering wheel across all trim levels.

Previously, this was not heated.

Great news for all of us QLDers!!!

Actually, I have heated seats in my 2016MY RAV4 Cruiser, and they do get used for a few weeks of the year when we venture into single digits during peak Winter!
So, a welcome addition.

Now... about that center console? :curse:

If you use the Remote Start, the car automatically selects a Hot or Cold Seat setting - something nice to slip into. lol

Another nerve ending! :lipssealed:

The Remote Start not being available with the 6-Sp manual is just illogical.
The computer knows if it's in neutral, or not.
The computer knows if the handbrake brake is on, or not.
Not sure if the computer has an accelerometer sensor, but wouldn't surprise me if it did.

If the appropriate conditions are not met, then remote start is disabled, ie; leaving it in gear(1st) with the handbrake on, as we were taught back in the day.

If the car is being garaged on a level surface, in neutral, with handbrake on, then remote start should be available.

My only take away is, Ford does not trust their own handbrake on steep hills!

If it's misprint, then we all might get some compensation, and a free track day!

@bfets will be getting two free track days, at this rate!

My MY21.5 Handbrake works fine, but as the MY24 has Brembo Rear Callipers, the handbrake now has its very own dedicated calliper.

At least you can still Remote Open the windows, to let the Aussie Summer heat out on a hot day before you get to the car.

Just got my official order change from a 24 to a 24.5, NSC number has changed and as of today estimated delivery is 8th August. This is still a 1st shipment car to Aus so it looks like a July/August for the 1st run of all Aus cars as it stands at the moment.

Congrats, however at this rate the first Australian MY"24" Mustangs will be MY25. I know I am dreaming, but It would be great if Ford spent that delay in restoring the lost Power and Torque we mysteriously from the host US car. lol
