Hi,
I just recently purchased a 2017 Ford Mustang 2.3L EcoBoost car. Have not been able to drive it yet as I am waiting on the Bill of Sale and Title transfer, so I am cleaning up the car and fixing broken items.
In the truck, I found these to brackets.
Does anyone know what this would of been used for? I was thinking it was for a NOS bottle.
I cleaned up the best as I could yesterday, so it looks better too!

My first thought is Nitrous. Less likely (but possible) it held a fire extinguisher. The bracket(s) ID seems a bit large for a F. Ext.

Do you have any history on this Mustang? Buying any used vehicle comes with risks. The risk factor goes up when adding Nitrous into the equation.

Hi, No, I have no history on the car. I bought it at a government auction in Florida, but receipts from the car show work performed in Delmar, NY on the brakes.
I am still happy with the purchase so far. However, I am still waiting for the Bill of Sale and Title to come so I can buy my plates and start driving.
I am just fixing stuff I see while it sits in the garage.
