Thought my key is supposed to automatically put the steering wheel, driving and exhaust (AVE) modes to my profile?

I put my settings in (sports steering wheel, normal drive, and sports mode exhaust valve) and saved them to my profile and keypad, but it goes to normal modes for driving and AVE when I start the car. Am I missing a step?

your not missing a step. These cars automatically switch back to the normal drive mode on startup. you have to manually switch the drive mode to custome on the left side of the steering wheel every time you start the car. Stupid as hell but that was the way my S550s were as well.

Oh I can change it to my profile through the wheel button? I saw the other modes but didn't know my own profile would be there. Thanks! I'll check it out.
