Hello, I recently installed a steeda clutch spring, it does feel a bit better than the stock, but recently my car started to shut off, kind of similar to when it shuts off when it redlines if I do pulls at high rpm’s. I read old threads about it maybe being the clutch sensor but I dont see anything off with it. Wondering if anyone has had the same issue?

Thanks!

I've had one installed for 2 years and haven't had an issue.

Yeah, I was hoping it would be straight forward until I started feeling the car cut off when I stepped on it. Hoping someone has ran into this before for some more insight

This is not an issue that I have personally encountered, nor is it something I've seen reported by forum members that I've assisted over the years. Based on that experience, I can say with a reasonable degree of confidence that there is likely another factor contributing to what you're experiencing.

Since this is not a commonly reported concern, I would recommend looking into other potential causes, as there may be an unrelated issue that is creating or amplifying the symptom.

Remove it & see if the problem persists - I will send this to our tech department ... but we have this spring on several of our in-house cars & no issues.

Appreciate the response TJ! Yeah I believe it might have something to do with the clutch pedal safety switch. I removed it and reinstalled it, going to test it a bit more to see if I find anything. Thanks!
