Recaro Buckets - Dark Horse

[ISLAND DARK HORSE]

So I was looking at a friend's DH today for the 1st time. I noticed that the Recaros have blue leathers on the bolster areas and the door cards also have blue leather. My DH does not! They are black. Did Ford screw up here? My DH is Race Red and the one with the blue bolsters is that dark blue with the mettalic flake.

I knew the interior looked different when I picked it up but I just couldn't put my finger on it. Anyone have any insight?

Those seats are part of the Dark Horse Appearance Package, which also gets "Notorious Blue" brake calipers, a black roof, and a slightly different hood graphic.

Huh! I don't remember that being an option that was offered. Maybe because of the Race Red?

Yeah, the appearance package comes with Blue Ember Metallic paint as well.

Yes, if you get Blue Ember, it automatically has the Appearance Package, but you can get the AP on black or Vapor Blue as well.

Yeah, according to the configurator, the Appearance Package isn't available on Race Red.
